The flip side of that is that floaters or balls without zip are easier for defenders to make breaks on and intercept. Especially when they don't have to worry about getting beat downfield.

Again, can we at least wait until the first game before we declare that the coaches have their mind made up about this or that? Did they name KC the starter and I missed it?

Just because hank declared it doesn't mean its true. That was his opinion based on KC getting more reps with the 1s than he has been. And he's the only one who's said KC leads. The closest anyone else has come to that is simonton saying they were more even today than every other practice where they said jg leads. I like hank and the info he brings, but I don't always agree with his analysis or opinions on things.

Reports by guys who have never played the game and have watched literally minutes of practice?

Again, I’d like to see JG get the job but I’d just warn everyone about getting wrapped up around these reports that truly mean nothing. We have to trust the coaches who are demanding excellence.

S, I agree that Dobbs outplayed Worley when he got his chances; but, he was also able to run an offense that was taylor-made for him, while Worley had no business even taking the first snap in it. Was and is Dobbs the better QB, no question; but, I also agree with Dog that Worley never had a chance running the spread.

Whatever. I love Dobbs, but the freshman version of Dobbs was not a better college QB than Worley even in Butch's offense. Like I said before, we will have to agree to disagree. I'm done with this argument and I'm right and I'm not changing my mind. Kiffen or Chaney would have gotten UT into a bowl game that year with Worley as starter, imo

Nope, the coaches hate JG and are gonna start KC over him just to spite JG, even though JG is clearly better. The offense is gonna suck. May as well go ahead and write the season off. Can we just go ahead and forfeit all the games?

Coaches like to play their guys. I’m really surprised we haven’t had more departures by now. It’s almost always in their best interest with a new coaching staff. I’m not saying KC doesn’t give us a better chance to win. I don’t know. I know that coaches are generally predisposed to play their guys.

I don’t care who wins the job. I’ve even said that the best case scenario is the JG runs away with the job and plays well. Then we are set up for at least another year.

I just try to pass along info and give my opinion on what will happen. My only wish is that we win as many games as possible.

Eric Ainge never played? And supposedly he gets to see more than other media since he used to have some role with the team. QB maybe? If we can't take anything away from any practice reports then where are you getting info that jg hasn't improved or that he isn't coachable. And why come on here to read the practice reports? I do trust the coaches. I also think jg is going to win the job based on giving us a better chance to win more games this season.

Not without a cable provider that has SEC Network, which mine is Optimum, and no dice.

Go to Reddit.com/r/cfbstreams and you'll find the UT games. A lot of the streams will allow playback after the game is over.

I could use the computer just as easily. I’ll bookmark the page to see if it’s of use. It’s risky though... I’d hate to sleep through a game and miss the playback because of some reason.

It would be amazing to watch a game fresh after church, like all of you do (NFL, but never mind), with my family, instead of suffering through the middle of the night and the next couple of days recovery.

Touché on Ainge, I did not take him into account.

I guess my two cents is: I didn’t buy all the hype of JG by a mile last week, or that today’s news means KC has the job. I just find it best to eat popcorn at this point of fall camp with the limited info we have.
