Your right, I don't know that and JJ can help UT. That, I have no doubt about. But, being the reason that DKjr decided to come back because he thought JJ wasn't going to qualify, which was what I was originally commenting about, just doesn't ring true, imo. Especially now with the way Pruitt has been praising DKjrYou don’t know that, Dog.
Plus JJ can play across all the LB spots. He could definitely help with rushing the QB on 3rd downs.
I don't know how these kids are allowed to play, other than to say that people are passionate about HS football in south Georgia. The amount of money that goes into some of the HS football programs in Georgia is crazy. There's a lot of pressure on coaches to win. On top of that, you have HS coaches like Propst who are trying to build winning programs to position themselves for college coaching jobs. If it weren't for Propst's personal life, he would have been coaching in college a long time ago. The guy is actually a really good play caller. Reminds me of Spurrier in some ways. My gut feeling is that he knows if JJ doesn't qualify, it will be a bad reflection on him. I'm sure he's pulling as many strings as he can within reason, to get JJ qualified.Again, how the hell do these kids qualify to even play for their high schools if they are that bad off academically? Did they reverse the "no pass no play" policy they had when I was in high school or is every high school program so corrupt that they look the other way? Sorry, but I guess ive just been THAT naive to expect our schools to follow the rules.

My point is, if a kid is smart enough to retain a major college defensive playbook, recognize opposing offensive formations and adjust accordingly on the fly, there shouldn't be anything wrong with a kid's ability to learn in the classroom. At that point it just comes down to the kid caring enough to make it a priority to do what it takes to pass.
