Yes it is..but common sense would be prevailing for that to happen though..So we will continue to let a bunch of ignorant and outdated fears guide our search for energy.

I wish we had moved to advanced nuclear 20 years ago. As it is, nat gas makes the most economic sense today and solar/wind + battery makes the most sense in the future. Absent a tax on carbon, that is unlikely to change. We would be in a way better spot in terms of pollution if our baseline power today was nuclear and not a combination of coal and gas, but nimbyism put a stop to that.

It isn’t much, but I didn’t realize there are a couple of college football games two weeks from Saturday. I will probably watch Colorado St to see what Preston Williams does.
