I thought that too but then I realized that the media has a scorned lover. He will drag the media and OSU

Seems like his days are numbered. Even if they can't 100% determine he was in the wrong, I doubt OSU wants to worry about what will happen a year or two from now if another reporter digs up new evidence. The media is gonna be swarming around OSU as long as Meyer is there now.

I hope he gets ****-canned, but I won't believe it til it happens. I suspect OSU is trying to find a fall guy in a desperate attempt to save him. I hope I'm wrong.

I’m sure y’all have noticed this but the jump to new button is really cool in the thread. You can select a thread like fingers practice thread. Jump back to page 1 to see his updates and then hit jump to new and it will take you to first unread post in the thread. Pretty sweet

Drew Locke’s in the defend your younger self’s Tweets sweepstakes. From when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Called a friend a British cigarette and issued a fake Geico commercial where he said “Can Geico save you 15% on your insurance? Do black people like Flaming Hot Cheetos?” Not the N-word...a funny sounding and not demeaning stereotype from the family of white people walk and dance funny and don’t season their potato salad. Pray for us.

I’m glad social media wasn’t a thing when I was in middle school.

  • I know all of us in the media said back in the spring that Jeremy Pruitt’s practices were different than how Butch Jones ran a practice. But for me, it really didn’t sink in till today just how different they were. It also helped that UT now has an expanded outdoor practice facility, and it looks beautiful. But the coaches were (imagine this) actually coaching and making sure UT’s players understood that they weren’t going to be babied around this fall. Competition was amped up, and the intensity was great to see.

Mine was during the 80’s. British cigarettes was a common reference...and it usually wasn’t derogatory. Lot of changes have been for the better...but there’s no stop sign.
