It’s not change back and forth and change your mind type of stuff. Final signee list was just that. It’s why we’re eating Lawless’s spot. At one point, we had Norwood and Davis on the blueshirt list...until UMass “stole” Norwood. If there’s no blueshirt or similar, how do you account for Davis? He’s enrolled NOW. None of the four extras are grayshirts. We wouldn’t see them until January. So blueshirting or equivalent is alive and well.

I think George, Davis and Thompson were 21, 22 and 23 in the 2018 class. I think the grad transfers can all count forward because they're grad transfers.

There's no way Thompson can be counted in the 2019 class, imo.

I don't think we are ever going to know for sure but I 100% disagree that it isn't a flip back and forth think. You can bet your rear that some incoming players were hoped to be counted against the 18 class but that had to be changed over the course of time. Who is what we will never know

I agree with the first part. We did have to eat Lawless's spot.

It's not a flip back and forth thing, unless you're talking about who can be back counted. Lawless counts toward the 2018 class, as Peterson would have, even if he didn't make it in.

Pretty sure we signed 23-- our max. Enrolled 21 by summer, parted ways with Lawless and will be enrolling JJ this week. I think enrollment for fall opens today.

It's confusing. But it's a little less confusing now with the new rules. It's more cut and dry moving forward.

I am saying grad transfers are easily flipped to where they count. There could have been room at first in the 18 class and then that changed so they could be counted forward
