Does it matter what was said? The shove is why it won't be murder. It's still manslaughter.

You cannot shoot somebody who is backing away from you. This is not a subjective opinion of what happened. He had multiple seconds to assess the risk of the situation. The guy was retreating. If you can't do the math in that situation, you're not responsible enough to be a CC holder.

The prosecution will argue he's a hothead and they will support this with the video and his history.

The defense will argue that he was afraid. This is why it won't be murder, because you can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was hot-headedness over fear.

Manslaughter, seems most likely and I think that's the right result. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a light sentence tho, and I don't have strong feelings about that either way.

You again make this assertion in a vacuum. There is literally NOTHING that I have seen that constitutes a viable assertion that the woman was lawfully threatened. The man was, and there's no ambiguity here whatsoever, physically assaulted. Not "threatened", actually and demonstrably physically assaulted.

Now I'll say again (even though I pointed this out in the very post you quoted) that once McGlockton HAD stopped and began withdrawing the justification for the shooting becomes dubious as hell. (IMO)

Same law. It matters what the perceptions of the shooter were. That is what the SYG law is based on. He’s blindsided, we don’t know if he’s injured, dazed, or what. Tunnel vision had to have set in on him and he fired the shot. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong. I just say it’s not likely he will do any time.

And just out of curiosity (question to anybody)...if you came out of a gas station and found some dude yelling at your girlfriend/wife, how many of you would shove that person or would feel like you are justified to push that person?

I actually don't think it's justified and I don't think it's the smart thing to do, but I don't think he was asking for trouble. It's not like the deceased just decided he wanted to **** with a vulnerable stranger. I think he reacted in a very human way. I don't think the shooter did. Shooting someone for a shove is not normal human behavior.

The fact is you are racist. You never think any racist incident is racist. You continually say racist things about people and put down entire races and cultures. You are a textbook racist who is too much of a punk to step up and own your beliefs.

I speak on racist thanks that have transpired. I have never insulted entire races and cultures. I think all individuals are different and all races and cultures are equal.

Watch the vid again........it is just a conversation until the wife sees her husband come out of the store and THEN she opens her door to confront the shooter..........the narrative that the shooter was accosting the woman is BS........she was emboldened by the appearance of her husband who 100% escalated the encounter to the level it became the SYG situation........

We all think we could have shown restraint in pulling the trigger, but we have no idea how we would react with two already over you and a third person coming at you down the sidewalk.......JMO

The "civility" and "courtesy" thing threw me........I am in the construction business, I can not tell you how many times I have been asked if my crews can forgo handicap access and give the owner a deduct..........It just will not happen unless mandated by law......

In a world with civil courteous people (people that look out for the next man and have empathy for those that may be handicapped/disabled) and a world with people that are calm and mind their business (people that have righteous outrage when necessary, but otherwise, choose their battles wisely), you never would have seen this happen.

But instead, we have hyper emotional snowflakes that pound their fists about obeying arbitrary rules and laws and another group that has no common courtesy and no restraint.
