Special counsel Mueller charges 12 Russian intelligence officers with hacking Democra

I've noticed a trend of conservatives here putting words in other poster's mouths. I never said the election was "rigged". Nobody here did. The hacking of the DNC and John Podesta's personal e-mails and their subsequent dissemination on WikiLeaks was done in order to give Trump ammunition to attack Clinton with on the campaign trail which he gladly did.

Now, I have said many times, that I don't believe that this had ANY impact at all on the outcome of the election itself. However, that doesn't make it okay that Russia did it. Trump should be able to acknowledge that they did it. It doesn't undermine the legitimacy of his Presidency to admit that Russia interfered.

Those idiots feel for a FISHING scam...

No it doesn't. On top of that, what serious threat are you suggesting exist here?

not sure if serious

Putin called out Hillary for taking $400 million form Bill Browder's group and threw George Soros under the bus.

Wonder if that will get any press time?

This is an official statement released earlier today by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R - SC 4th District):

"I am confident former CIA Director and current Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, DNI Dan Coats, Ambassador Nikki Haley, FBI Director Chris Wray, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and others will be able to communicate to the President it is possible to conclude Russia interfered with our election in 2016 without delegitimizing his electoral success." - Rep. Trey Gowdy (R - SC 4th District)

That sounds like some frustration right there. I sense a great deal of it coming from Republicans right now... but they're all just a bunch of RINO's, right? Riiiight....

I’m confused why Dems are touting these latest reports as victories in their war against Trump.. they seem to be a lot worse off for the Obama’s admin than anything else.

I just want to know how in the hell Mueller got the names of these supposed hackers that are GRU agents? It's one thing to trace back to country of origin, but to actually be able to name names?

That's got to be one of the great mysteries. Maybe Mueller has been a guy named Ole Muel on GRUVN (in crayon to help BB and his buddies), and some guys have been feeding him "insider" information. Could be they had to have a better conduit for a whole org chart and remembered an guy named Al Steele - liked to call himself AlFe on GRUVN. Unfortunately too much info to stick on the bottom of a bar glass, so they brought back a guy named Deep Throat and have been in their words "playing Mueller like a one string fiddle" ever since.

Obama is not blameless in his failure to sound the alarm a bit louder than he did at the time.

But that doesn't make it okay for the Russians to have done so. Not does it mean that Dems are forever barred from complaining that Trump encouraged it and may even have been aware of/acquiesced to it.

For all his pronouncements of being so pro-America, and America first, you have to admit he has a funny way of showing it when it comes to Russia and the investigation. He blasts American law enforcement, American intelligence, and sides with a country that is extremely antagonistic to us over our own institutions and people.

There is something really suspicious and wrong going on here. You can't ignore it by saying Obama should have done more to stop it.

It's only a victory for Putin. Quit being so tribal. This should be an embarrassment for us all. We have a President who just publicly took the word of our chief foreign adversary (a dictator no less) over the professional assessments of his own appointed former CIA Director and Secretary of State, his own appointed UN Ambassador, his own appointed FBI Director, his own appointed Attorney General and his own appointed Director of National Intelligence. That is incredible.

I don't understand how anyone in here complains about Nationalism and then turn around and call Trump a traitor and he betrayed "his People".

Nobody has said that the outcome of the election was altered or determined by Russia's meddling but for God's sake, that doesn't make it right. Trump't tweet, once again, shows who he completely blames for their meddling - the United States.

So why are we still going on about this?. Just shut the damn barn door and walk away.

It really is getting old. I'm personally tired of the faux outrages daily and muh Russia.

There is plenty of disappointment, anger and frustration being expressed by Republicans right now over Trump's stance toward Putin in Helsinki. Are those "faux outrages" as well?

But Trump is a liar, right?

So now you believe him?

How big of y'all.

Gowdy is really stuck here. He wants to be a loyalist but he knows that Trump is being at a minimum extremely reckless and irresponsible. His transition to the group that is wondering just what the hell is going on here is in full swing.

Stupid ass comparison and you know it. It isn’t our responsibility to protect our own elections as well as our electronic infrastructure?

You this disingenuous or this foolish and dumb? Up to you.

Remember you are trying to discuss the concept of self care/self protection with a lib.

Gowdy looks confused and frustrated as hell. I bet he would like to pack his bags and spend the rest of the year in Hilton Head right now.

You wait until today to start calling outrages, outrages. GTFOH with that selective BS.
