Special counsel Mueller charges 12 Russian intelligence officers with hacking Democra

He could start by simply saying that Russia definitely interfered in the election and that this could only have been done under the direction of their leader, Vladimir Putin. Send a message, loud and clear, that this was unacceptable and can't happen again. He still hasn't done that.

Does that drastically change things? Are we willing to back that up with force if Russia does not say "our bad, we wont do it again"? My point is that this seems to be a very minor thing to plant your flag on and defend it to the death (us as a country). We should be better at preventing these attacks (not that saying so absolves Russia in any way).

So... tell him to “stop it”? 🙄

If you think cyber attacks on our systems are limited to Russia, I've got some bad news for you. Literally every country, friend or foe uses cyber warfare against the US and everyone else. But to this point, what exactly do you suggest Trump to do here in regards to Russia? Honest question, how would you handle it?

Check out the live attacks map.

Trump actually sided with Russia in the press conference today and refused to defend the intelligence Community assessment of what has gone on. He must be impeached immediately! Any Republican who blocks it must be voted out of office as soon as possible. We are under attack and the Russians have an agent planted in the highest office in the country.

You have flipped your lid...

It is up to us to stop it.....is that so hard to understand?

Be publicly tough against them. Increase the sanctions placed on them.

I understand having a background dialogue but you can have a ****ing press conference standing beside the guy who led an attack against the United States (and whom your campaign is under investigation with for colluding with in the first place.)

The way he acts in regards to Russia is in stark contrast to our traditional allies like Canada and the members of the European Union. It’s a total tell. I don’t know if he got pissed on by Russian prostitutes - that doesn’t really matter. But the Russians have SOMETHING on him or his campaign or his family.

He attacked our intelligence community instead of holding Russia accountable. It is insane and to act like it isn’t is disingenuous.

I think Trump must know Mueller has something on him and his only chance is to sow discord about the quality of the evidence that's going to be adduced against him or his children. Either that or he's legitimately compromised.

There needs to be a meeting of the leadership in the house in the Senate and they must agree to get rid of trump and it needs to happen today. Anything short of immediate removal is traitorous to the country.

We don't have any idea what was said or what went on in the meeting.

I'll hold out my opinion until something leaks from that.

Well now, that was carefully avoided wasn't it? absolutely normal to meet with the Russian president alone for 2 hours. No biggie.

Stupid ass comparison and you know it. It isn’t our responsibility to protect our own elections as well as our electronic infrastructure?

You this disingenuous or this foolish and dumb? Up to you.

Where's the disanalogy? Russia committed the crime. The Dems didn't. Sure they could have done more to prevent it, just like the woman could have dressed more modestly or not gone out at all.

What I heard was our POTUS asking for the server and actual evidence BEFORE condemning another country......seems reasonable......but then again, I am not LG......

Deflection ... in the face of the weakness that Trump has shown today? Rather pathetic.

No what’s pathetic is your continual screeching because he didn’t scowl and tell them to knock it off.

Putin offered to let our guys in on the questioning if we reciprocate. I’ve posted that FOUR times now. How bad do we want to talk to them.

All you idiots do it SCREEEEEEEEEEECH!!! You have zero juice on this whole topic.
