Best thing about tonight's Supreme pick

Wow they got these signs printed up really fast.

Yeah, the Democrats really shouldn't be that fired up about this pick. Of the 4, Kavanaugh is probably the least threatening. I'm betting that outside of just wanting to block for blocking sake, his involvement in the Starr investigation has them riled.

Soros didn’t pay enough of them. There’s like 30 people.

Neither is Trump. He's basically outsourced the decision to the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society.

Thank the Lord. I'd much rather have those American groups choose than the Marxist, communist groups that we have now wanting to make a choice

I don't know enough about him to have an opinion on his suitability at this point, except that his 2009 writings on delaying civil and criminal cases while a president is in office should cause people to ask him to recuse himself should the issue arise as to Trump. If he declines to make that promise, he should not be confirmed. Period.

It will certainly slow down the inevitable. But the pace of progress has always been the only battle. I do hate the fact that there will be so much unnecessary collateral damage.

'72 - tried a few new places. DoDaddy's. Scallop Republic, and Crazy Fish.

What is this "inevitable" that you pronounce? "Inevitable" what?

What is ur utopia that you speaketh?

What in God's name do you not have now?

I honestly believe progressivism is a never ending, never achieved value that cannot ever be achieved by the very definition of itself.

What is utopia to u? Man's flawed nature will never allow.

Don't pity me, I'm an upper middle class, heterosexual white guy. It's the masses not in that category who are of concern.

Plus, I think he will increase demand for jobs in my daughter's selected ares of study. (left handed complement)
The reason for my pity is that your prediction appears to be wrong at the moment. I worry about what they may do to your psyche, and how you will cope. Another silent protest in order, maybe?

Statism. That's his God and his utopia.

DEMs may just mess this up yet and get another Scalia or Thomas.:loco:

It's always better to slow the pace of progress to Hell IMO.:)

There have been people of that mindset throughout history. In hindsight, it's never really been the side with which most would wish one to be associated. You can slow progress temporarily, but it never stops moving forward.

You also believe Roberts, Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch should also recuse themselves if asked to rule on Trump since they are GOP appointees. Admit it.

Far, far, far more accurate.

Well, the Bible does speak to that.

You first "reason" why he shouldn't be picked.

I'm sure you will come up with a half dozen more or so in the coming days.
