This is just my opinion, but if Bones never juiced I dont think he would've ever gotten near the title. They guy that faced OSP not juiced wasn't anywhere near unbeatable

Craziness. Juicing doesn't take you from average to GOAT.

You don't even know when he juiced and when he didn't....and he beat OSP, who was a legit contender, so Bones is obviously a contender without it.

He microdoses. Kinda like taking 5 mg of cialis everyday vs 20 mg of that blue pill occasionally. It will help you. Ask a cialis guy.

While I agree with the top part. Is OSP though? He's beaten 1 top guy and he was 106 years old, OSP is pretty much a gatekeeper type. IMO

It's debatable. Bisping got a title shot as a #7 and won. OSP is #6 rn and presents about the same amount of danger as Bisping did.

Also Bones was knocking off ring rust. The fight doesn't prove anything about Jones, IMO

Except OSP dies after 2 rounds and Bisping gets stronger, so Bisping is far more dangerous in title fights. Rankings aren't comparable either as LHW is trash, Shogun is 8th for Christ sake.

Disagree. Look at Vitor and Cro Cop on steroids vs off. Completely different fighters. I definitely believe that’s what happened with a jones in the OSP fight

What about them? Their primes were long gone before UFC cracked down. Bones also crushed Belfort in 2012

You're just guessing at when Bones did and didn't juice

I mean, isn't everybody just guessing? Maybe he has been the whole time, maybe it was after AG, maybe after OSP. We will never know so all we can do is guess, and that's his own doing. Don't want people guessing and questioning his career, don't cheat. Pretty simple.

Yeah, we're all guessing but he is making his guesses into definitive statements.

He has my respect and always has, but he will never get rid of that JJ shadow IMO. He can bark all day long about he's one of the best ever, but he knows deep down that JJ is better. JMO

Maybe they’ll rematch if JJ can stay off the drugs for the first time

But he actually is one of the best. Not just in his own opinion. In the opinion of actual people whose statements hold weight.

Point is, and these esteemed individuals whose statements hold weight lol, will agree that JJ is better than him no matter what he does in gaining the HW belt. I like DC and he's a great fighter, but its like he wants the JJ fights to be forgotten. His legacy will always have that with it unless he can manage to get a fight put together with JJ and beat him. JMO

DC will be considered GOAT if he can beat Bones. If not, nobody but die hard DC fans will ever think that. Either way he's an all-time great.

True. I don’t think he’s goat. But cheatin Jones’ legacy should be tarnished, not DC

His legacy is definitely tarnished, but he's still considered GOAT by many.

Anderson Silva cheated too. Nobody's pulling him from the GOAT convo over it.

Problem with Jones is he is missing so much of his prime. He could be the biggest star in combat sports if he wasn’t a moron. But he is.

Don’t know who the goat is anymore. Not sure there is one. Silva was the obvious pick but people will always point to the roid use a la Lance Armstrong

Fighters' primes are more about rounds than they are years, imo. As long as you're not too reliant on quickness, guys who start late can go well into their 30's and 40's (Bernard Hopkins, Daniel Cormier). Bones is only 30 and hasn't taken much damage. His prime could go another 10 years. Frank Mir is younger than Cormier but one dude is at the mountain top and the other guy fell off 8 years ago.

That’s true. Good point. Problem with Jones is that it’s one bad decision after another. He’s going to have to grow up

Mir was in a pretty bad motorcycle wreck too. Never the same afterwards.
