So Florida goes 4-7 last season. They are 18/1 and we are 100/1? Garbage.

As we get closer to the season, I hear more and more commentators drooling over their talent and saying they are a dark horse to win the division.

I don’t get it. There was similar talk for them last year and I didn’t get it then either.

Florida is in the exact same situation as Tennessee
Kinda funny how they
are all of a sudden good yet we’re not

I just saw they’re up to 7 out. Reassessing the situation to confirm favorable conditions for the next round.

It's only because of their coach. He walks on water.

Seeing that they had to proceed with the op because oxygen was running low and conditions were only good for a short time, would they have died of oxygen deprivation had that Thai SEAL not brought them oxygen and given his life on the way out?

I don't think it would have happened that quickly. And he wasn't bringing it all the way to them. From what I read he was placing oxygen tanks on the rope on the way in for divers to have if the tank they were carrying ran out on the way.

Edit: I think actually they have to switch the tanks a couple times underwater because one tank won't be enough to get out. So that is why they had to stop yesterday. To replace all the tanks along the way for another round.

Understood, thanks.

Boys are being sedated to keep from freaking out, and essentially pulled through by the divers.

That’s why they rest for so long in the 3rd chamber before walking out... they are out of it and have to get their bearings

Great idea! I was hoping they would do that. A little Valium or something similar goes a long ways to staying calm.

It sounds like a very good plan, to this point. Hopefully, the last 5-6 can be rescued soon and all will fully recover and be united with their families. People are at their best when they're helping people.

Someone mentioned on the radio today that 27 of 28 recruits from the last Butch class are still on campus. I hope this is a trend that continues. We have been decimated from roster turnover the last decade.

It looks like they may get all those boys out before this gets there because of the accelerated timing of the extraction, but Elon Musk got this made and tested in the last few days and it's on it's way to Thailand now in case they need it. And may be useful if something similar happens in the future. He said he also could probably use it as an escape pod on space shuttles. :loco:

And here is a video of it in action.

Elon is a 21st century mad scientist. Good on him for doing what he can. Plenty of other billionaires prefer to sit on the sidelines

like him or not, at least he's got somewhat of a heart
