Keep it classy libs....

From the story, seems they did go public with the local station, and then started getting threatened. Then they requested anonymity.

Kind of like Maxine Waters received threats? She said something stupid and tried to play the sympathy card just like this guy. How do anonymous people receive threats?

Let's pretend this is true. I wasn't there, so who knows. But even if true, does it justify a 30 year old assaulting a 16 year old? I'd say no.

Maybe the kid did spit out some abhorrent words. Whether or not you agree with someone's views, they are still aloud to speak them. You espouse the First Amendment often, so remember, free speech applies even when you don't like what's being said.

Still, no excuse for stealing the kid's hat and verbally assaulting him. Just admit the guy was wrong and stop trying to find justification because you won't find it.

Move the goal posts much?

You guys did the feigned outrage gimmick over it being about the hat. Now you have to shift to it just want justified.

Sad!

The hell we did. It isn’t ok for a 30 year old man to commit simple assault and theft against a 16 year old minor because he got his feelz hurt. Plain and simple.

Of course it doesn't, but it might explain why this guy acted so bizarrely.

Does the reason really matter? You come across like you're trying to justify his actions. Whether or not you are, that's how it comes across. It doesn't matter if the kid was being an ass or not, it's not justification for the 30 year old to steal from anyone, let alone a 16 year old kid.

Just to be clear, you, a supposed lawyer, are saying it's okay for a 30 year old man to steal a 16 year old's hat and verbally assault him in public? It speaks for itself, so I'm not sure why anyone has to justify anything.

Exactly
He’s not an Fing lawyer.

Everyone needs to understand that LG is a democrat first and foremost. Before anything else.

Things will make a lot more sense once you understand.

“Jimenez said seeing the hat had the same effect on him that a Ku Klux Klan hood would have had.”

From the mouths of babes

It isn’t just verbal assault. Throwing the drink on the kid meets the criteria for simple assault in TX and is normally a class C misdemeanor. I looked it up after this happened. Not sure if elevates to felony since he assaulted a minor.

I mean, who's really shifting the goal posts here? There's no justification for the man's actions, so I'm not sure why you're trying to find one. Kid could be a complete ass hat, it doesn't give the man the right to do what he did.

If I did come across that way, it wasn't my intent. I don't condone his actions at all. Neither do I condone hate speech, which if true, it fits the bill.

"Hate speech"? What the hell does that even mean?

Hate speach.....or any speach.....is protected by the constitution. Racist have the right to be racist and say so. That’s not a crime.....unbelievably stupid.....but not a crime. Striking some for exercising their right to speak is a crime.

See the difference?

You don’t condone it but this is simply par for the course for the Left. I didn’t vote for president last election, just wrote my name in, but it is crap like this that pushes people to vote for Trump.

And you believe everyone that leans right is racist? That really is a bull**** thing to imply. Labeling everyone who disagrees with you as racist, or homophobe, or whatever else, it really serves no purpose, and it certainly isn't true.

Yes, I know it's constitutional. Still doesn't make it right. The things they were saying are abhorrent. If true, it's sad that kids are raised to think that's acceptable, especially to speak publicly like that. Wouldn't you agree?
