Random post here. I'd like to know what the hell Ole Miss was thinking when they fired Cutcliffe after winning 10 games and the Cotton Bowl in 04. School hadn't won 10 ball games in a season in no telling how many years and they did that? You're Ole Miss man.

That was a terrible fire.

Joe Moorhead might end up making Dan Mullen’s resume at MSU not as impressive (also bet PSU doesn’t look as good). Their recruiting has been great under him and his scheme is so good.

I know that I do not know what NBA scouts look for...but these players going are not much better than him and some are probably worse at basketball.

Maybe you just haven't seen all of these guys play. Admiral is just going to have trouble with his size.

No not all of them. And that makes sense, I'm unsure what the scouts and teams look for in these players. As far as how good at basketball these players are right now though, it's not exactly NBA roster material imo.

It's somewhat of a crapshoot. But Admiral pretty much has to play the three, and he isn't tall enough for a three in the NBA.

Really interested to see what Shoop will get out of their defense.

From what I remember a few Ole Miss fans saying about it was that the AD, and more importantly, some prominent boosters, wanted him to make some staff changes, and he refused.

Whether true, or whether they were trying to justify the firing, I don't know. But it was a bad decision either way.

What kind of sense would it make to try and force a guy to make staff changes when he just had the first ten win season there in no telling how many years? Have enough awareness to see that you're Ole Miss. You're not and never will be a big dog in this league.

“Saturday is the last camp day before the dead period. Marquee visitors include…

Jaydon Hill, 4-star wideout Trey Knox, 4-star DE and Mississippi State commit Charles Moore, 2020 teammates QB Harrison Bailey and 5-star tight end Arik Gilbert, 2020 offensive lineman Mitchell Mayes.”

as for the team, workouts continue with the focus continuing on getting bigger and stronger. Brandon kennedy and mondre london are continuing to workout as newcomers, along with keller chryst. Tennessee is hoping to get jj peterson on campus in two weeks to start classes. Speaking of chryst, he has continued to generate a little bit of buzz this month. First of all his shear size is eye catching and he has thrown the ball well. So has jarrett guarantano, setting up a heck of a summer long battle that will turn into a heated battle in august for the starting job.

By the way guarantano is spending the end of this week at the manning passing academy.

Talking to multiple people this week, one things that everyone seemed to be pleased with is this teams commitment to work. Now who knows what that turns into in regards to wins is anyone's guess, but one of the goals to start spring practice was to work at the pace and the rate that pruitt and his staff demands. This team has responded well to that challenge to this point this summer.

Fitzgerald is known for playing some pretty significant mind games in an effort to improve mental toughness and this team according to people we have spoken with has done a better job of that this summer compared to ths spring.

Jauan jennings continues to show the focus everyone is looking for and brandon kennedy has jumped right in the swing of things with the offensive line. Days are critical with only five weeks or so left before the start of fall camp.
