Lol. If I get bored enough I’ll bump the posts. Pretty sure you were one of those arguing we had the horses at DT prior to 2016.

The board was talking about being a playoff team and winning the SEC. We didn’t have the DT’s for that. That was my stance. We weren’t ready there yet.

Same here. I was thrown in a fiery furnace for saying Butch Jones sucked donkey cods before last season. Same thing this offseason when I've said that this team wouldn't be that good this year. You'd have thought I kicked a few dogs or something.

More about the way you say it. I don’t think we will be very good but I am not getting ripped for that opinion.

I remember Hank Hill saying don't be surprised if Pruitt gets an interview and thinking to myself that he was shady but was a really good coach who would probably bring a dynamite staff

It has been my experience that everyone who has a take on something who thinks they're the only one that has that take is very wrong. Plenty of people have said what some here are claiming that they were the only ones to say. That does not make what they said any less correct, it just makes the straining to pat themselves on the back a little more ridiculous.

Well I'm getting ripped lol 😂. I guess sunshine pumping is a bit of a pet peeve of mine when the evidence clearly suggests otherwise. Like Swanson saying we're going to win 9+ this year. Get out of here with that BS.

I'm iffy on the talent because I think we do have some but because its year 1 in a new system, I think 6-6 or 7-5 is about right and should be the expectation this year.

Who was at the top?

Sophomore Khalil and Danny O? Tuttle hadnt even made his way back yet and we really didn’t know if he’d be back. We weren’t good enough at that position at the time to do the kind of things this board was talking about doing.

Yeah call it arrogant or what have you but I'm telling you right now I was one of the very first to say Jones probably wasn't going to cut it here. That is in the recruiting forum. I had people wanting to sue because I said Les Miles was better. I'm convinced that had we hired a Mike Leach or a Dave Doeren most people on here would have talked theirselves into believing that either was about to be a slam dunk. And I'd be on here telling everyone why they wouldn't work, and would be proven correct again in about 3 years.

After that it was hot garbage. All those guys got hurt/dismisses and we were left with hot garbage down the stretch of 2016.
