The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Strowman challenges Lesnar ahead of time before a PPV then beats Lesnar.... Braun then becomes the final hurdle for Roman and Roman beats him for the belt.

Show was pretty good . I personally think the women stole the show . Both title matches where good and the MITB match had a winner no one expected

Much better ppv than I expected, aside from the horrible, pointless Roman/Mahal match. Ronda impressed me again, she was selling the hell out of that match. If she gets a little better on the mic she will be an awesome champ when she gets it eventually.

Understand that Lashley definitely should have won, but they buried my boy Sami in the process. :/

Pretty good show all together; Rollins/Elias was match of the night for me personally.

Oh I forgot; they really made Asuka look stupid tonight. Carmella is absolutely terrible in the ring. Bad booking all around.

Pretty sure we didn’t watch the same match . That championship match was very entertaining

Difference of opinion I guess. Carmella had control way too much of the match and they made Asuka look foolish getting distracted by Ellsworth twice and losing to a super kick. Carmella has no business holding a title.

The only way they can fix this is for Asuka to DESTROY Carmella in the next match. And Ellsworth too.

Quick thought: when Rousey/Bliss finally happens, Rousey's judo throws are gonna look absolutely monstrous. Think about it, she threw a (guessing) 150-160 pound Stephanie and it looked great, she's thrown a (guessing) 145 pound Sonya Deville and it looked great, she threw a 270 pound Nia. Bliss' tiny little (guessing) 100 pound ass is gonna get ragdolled all over that ring.

I got home late and started it from the beginning which allowed me to fast forward past Roman vs Jinder match. The PPV was solid. Carmella needed Ellsworth to come back, it gives her so many ways to cheat and keep the title. The women continue to steal the show.

MitB = Total waste of time. It's clear WWE has no idea what they're doing. Lets break it down.

Shinsuke Nakamura will never be WWE champion...because? Uh...He's Japanese. My only guess. Nakamura looks like a joke now. AJ Styles is my favorite wrestler but goodness Nakamura needs the strap.

Asuka. Another victim of being Japanese apparently. Remember how awesome she was in NXT? Not only did she pointlessly lose her streak way too early, she's now lost to one of the worst womens wrestlers in history. By...a...kick. Alright then.

Womens wrestling in WWE rose from the ashes, it was red hot for a while, but now its dead again. Period. Alexa "Medicore" Bliss is now a 5 time womens champion. If we're being blunt, thats 5 times too many. Seriously, whos dick is she sucking? Only reasonable explanation.

Braun Strowman. I enjoy watching him. I really do, but he was the ONE guy I pin pointed in the match that it would be extremely lame to win. It just doesn't fit him at all. It's a complete waste. At any point, it would be believable and perfectly fine for him to just challenge Brock and win the strap that way. Literally EVERY other man in this match would of made an interesting Mitb winner. But WWE goes with the lazy choice.

Kudos to Bryan for dragging by far the worst male wrestler on the main roster to a somewhat decent match.

And double Kudos to Seth Freakin Rollins and Elias. Two of the lone bright spots the last few months in WWE.

I've been a wrestling fan as long as I can remmeber. I sat through countless terrible times and moments and matches over the years. But for some reason, just now my interest in the WWE is fading. I still love NXT. NXT actually I think is what the problem is. I see how it is booked, ran and how it puts on amazing show after amazing show...then I watch the main roster...and it just isn't in the same ball park, especially as of late. I think its extremely frustrating to see how awesome NXT is, knowing the WWE can put on an incredible show depending on who's calling the shots, and then seeing the main roster booked like garbage. It's beyond frustrating to see the most talented roster in WWE history perhaps be handled so poorly at times.

It's time for Vince to go home.

Mitb Not Backlash terrible, but overall just felt like a waste of time. Best way I can sum this up I think.
