TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Mueller was protecting the FBI establishment, anyone thinks he’s not protecting the larger establishment now are just blind.

But but he’s a republican is the other sides crutch. Doesn’t mean shat to me.

Trump complaining on Twitter about the IG report before it's publicly released. Don't think it's going to be the bombshell all the conservatives on here are hoping for.

...and once again, Trump reiterated on Twitter that he wouldn't have hired Sessions if he had known that he would recuse himself from the Russian investigation. Sessions is starting to look like the jilted guy at the bar who can't take a hint.

How so? Mueller never says a thing.

A good prosecutor doesn’t indict when he has no intention of prosecuting. He doesn’t need to set perjury traps and dig up 10 year old cases just in an attempt to get a person to spill beans.

Over a year in a Mueller has done nothing in regards to Russian interference in the election. But just give him time, right?

Mueller is doing a pretty good job of discrediting himself and the investigation, Giuliani is just helping him.

Ridiculous ! The guard our profits party is working night and day to stop the investigation. "No Lips" is jut one of tRump's attorney's looking very foolish. Lying on video daily!

Right, tRump hired a RUSSIAN agent, manafort to run his campaign. Spin that!:loco:

Not all of them.

LG...well, he'd try chasing the Medevac chopper off the battlefield tossing his business cards the entire way.

Along with evil lawyer. CWV wouldn't because "that's not my kind of law, okay?"

But he would be suing the enemy over a breech of contract.

luther would be very polite in making sure the enemy troops had a safe crossing of the lines by holding up his stop sign and blowing his whistle.

But only after reminding them they can only fire their rifles X amount over a Y time.

Huff would be given an order and start trying to argue about it.

Dink...would be too intoxicated to fight. Which might be a good thing as many of the world's problems can be solved over a beer.

Septic would start yelling snarky comments at the enemy drawing fire in the process.

And sometimes friendly fire isn't.

Zepplin...ever hear of any of them surviving a war? There's a reason we don't use them anymore.

TennTom would end up shooting someone in the back accidentally.

Maybe...

McDad would be good for laughs.

Orange Crush would end up saying "Bless you my child!" before lobbing a grenade at the enemy. (cue Monty Python)

69 would be nowhere to be found since he'd be looking for the nearest kush patch

I could go on...

You left out a lot of key people here...
Hog, AirVol, 72,79, GreyWolf, and of course the magnificent Obsessed.

Hiring someone with a conflict of interest is a bad move. Rosenstein should have thought about that when he appointed Mueller.

What's there to spin? If the FBI had shared that they were investigating Manafort for ties to Russia, Trump wouldn't have hired him.

Sessions has seen enough of the evidence to know that he is the only thing standing between Trump's illegitimate and criminal presidency getting exposed versus Trump covering it up with personnel moves.

Trump may fire him to try to further the cover-up in a Nixonian move, but Sessions isn't going to make it easy for him. For one thing, he does not want the history books to imply that he might have been complicit in Trump's criminal enterprise.

If a hack actually occurred I agree an investigation would be warranted.

Which makes me wonder why the DNC didn't allow the FBI to examine the servers...hmmm

Did you know that they outsourced the "forensic investigation" to CrowdStrike (a Google company)?

The truth of what happened would be a welcome change from the typical DC scandal rinse and repeat.
Speaking of which, whatever happened to the yappy dog's laptop? (Debbie Wassermann-Shultz?)

:lolabove: So it's the FBI"s responsibility to vet political hires, you think a "smart genius" would have done that. :birgits_giggle:

No, schmuck, the FBI would’ve been forthcoming if Manafort was a Russian stooge. They’re using him as cover, only to justify that they put a mole in Trump’s campaign to “protect” him. How friggin’ stupid do you have to be to believe that line of BS?

ETA:

This wasn’t about nailing Manafort’s bag to a post and pushing him off, it was about doing it to Trump, in an off-the-wall chance he should win.
