Rank-and-File FBI Agents Eager to Blow Whistle on Comey, Holder, Lynch

I misapplied that term altogether. I was obviously speaking about the top tier of the corporate bureaucracies.

I figured but you are woefully mistaken again. Corporate leaders absolutely have people that they answer to and are held accountable. They are held accountable 100x more than a bureaucrat or politician. They also have to produce.

Ever hear of those things called stockholders?

We'll never agree on this. Look no further than Heather Bresch at Mylan Inc. and the EpiPen story.

You know how she is allowed to raise prices like that and who prevents competition from keeping her prices in check? Who's going to come busting through the door to stop some good Samaritan that wants to take the formula and make a cheaper alternative?

She should not have been allowed to raise prices like that. I view that is a failure of the government to intervene and as an example of what a corporate bureaucrat will do when left unchecked.

Busting through the door to take the formula? Are you saying that shouldn't be stopped? Intellectual property should not be protected? China says "hello".

I'm saying the government that you worship allows her to raise prices and anyone that tried to copy the Epipen and even give it away would be trampled by the same government.

It was public outrage and activist stockholders that held her accountable. If the Epipen was owned by the government and they raised prices in the same way their would be NOTHING anyone could do about it until the next election if even then. So in short business people are held to a much higher level of accountability than any bureaucrat or politician.

Spoiled by the fact that you've lived your life in a country that has a government that created and maintained the framework and environment that greatly assisted your ability to succeed. It's easy to discount the impact and only focus on the negative.

So why do you and Obama want to change "a government that created and maintained the framework and environment that greatly assisted your ability to succeed"? And out of curiosity is "succeeding" "creating"?

Excellent analysis.

Wish we discussed topics like this more instead of Trumpers vs Dumpers.

1. I do not worship the government.
2. The government "ALLOWS" her to raise prices? So you're saying the government should practice price control?
3. Again, are you saying that intellectual property should not be protected? You're saying the government should NOT allow her to raise prices but should allow people to copy the formula? Interesting.
4. It was the media that led to the public outrage.
5. If the EpiPen were owned by the government, prices would never have been raised like they were.
6. So in short, I disagree with your assessment.

You do know that epinephrine is adrenalin. It's not a magic potion that some drug company brewed up in the lab and patented. It's used medically in many ways like helping restart a heart and more mundane things as breathing treatments for asthmatics.

The epipen is simply a very convenient way of injecting a metered dose - the cost of the medicine and plastic are negligable. What allowed the price gouging is federal intervention - Joe down the street can't simply put out a similar product without getting FDA approval. She knew that and the consumer was screwed.

The FDA doubtless saves lives with their policies, but it goes the other way for someone denied access because FDA policy also limits quick remedial action.

To be clear, Luther does not worship government. He worships Democrats.

The government created nothing. The people who laid out the rules for our style of government created the framework.

Career politicians and bureaucrats have bastardized what those people created.
Government created everything. I heard Barry Soetoro say so.

I agree completely with the bolded.

The EpiPen price gouging was not a government problem. It was a greed problem. How to best address corporate greed is the issue.

For me at least, it's not so much that Trump drives me nuts, but more the fact that there are so many people who support and believe him no matter what.

The biggest flag waving red blooded Americans are many of the same people who believe a life long shyster over the very institutions that protect our country. Bizarre.

We feel the same about liberals. Fixed primary, Clinton Foundation, billion spent on campaign, meeting on the Tarmac, attempting to fix a presidential election and biased in the tank liberal media followed by obstruction/resistance. Hard for us to believe you can follow these people??

Corporate greed is quickly self limiting in a free market.
