TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

President Donald Trump's long-time personal lawyer Michael Cohen met with Qatar's minister of economy and commerce, Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, in early April in Miami, Foreign Policy reported.
The meeting occurred days before FBI agents raided Cohen's home and office in New York City in connection with an ongoing criminal probe.
Cohen is being eyed for, among other things, a hush-money payment given to porn star Stormy Daniels right before the 2016 presidential election.

Oh hell, he's done. This must be the first time ever a private citizen has met with a foreign minister of commerce.

A law firm Michael Cohen hired to help him navigate the Mueller investigation was paid $200,000 by Qatar for lobbying
Cohen, president Trump's personal lawyer, hired McDermott Will & Emery in June 2017
A month later, the firm was hired by Qatar to lobby the US government , according to newly released government documents
McDermott Will & Emery was commissioned by the Qatari government in a $40,000-per-month contract to lobby for the Gulf state
McDermott’s lobbying also included discussions of a $30million ‘gift’ from Qatar for ‘flood relief’ with four House Representatives

The head of a $100bn Qatari investment fund, Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, claims that Cohen asked him for $1million in a meeting in December 2016, which he says he refused. Cohen denies the claims.

The two were caught on camera two days later attending a meeting with the Qatari foreign minister and Trump’s disgraced former National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn, at Trump Tower.

What is really sad is that this is normal in today’s political world.

I find it funny that every time Mick mentions Cohen it's followed by "Trump's personal lawyer." Someone's obsessed.

Giuliani said it? Then you can take that to the bank!!!

(For the love of God, please tell me you are not so stupid as to think they would tell Giuliani or anyone else when they expect to finish. And that you see this claim by Giuliani for what it is-- yet another set up to cry foul when it's not over by then.)

It happened 2 weeks ago. It's true. Of course in your world, it's a conspiracy theory and Guiliani is gonna lie to discredit his relationship with Mueller...c'mon man!

I don't know the cat personally, never was in any meeting or any phone calls with him, but Al-Rumaihi said the claims in the lawsuit are fabricated.

Furthermore, don't know Cohen...maybe you do? But, Cohen said it was “untrue” that he had sought payment from al-Rumaihi. “These falsehoods and gross inaccuracies are only being written in the hopes of maligning me for sensationalistic purposes. The truth will prevail and will ultimately be proven in court and not by pundits,” Cohen said in a text message.

Welcome to reality, Trump supporters.

Lol.... this has all the looks of one of those comments or remarks that one wishes they hadn't made..... I can see BHO getting into some legal trouble before too long

Who can forget the time Obama and Hillary were so proud to reset relations with Russia. They made a huge deal out of the effort.

Obama fans were gushing over the attempt. They were probably overusing the words "nuanced" and "progressive" in their songs of praise.

Then in a witty play on the Staples button, they presented Russia with a big red button that was supposed to say "reset" in Russian. Except it said the equivalent of over burden.

Back then it was cool to suck up to Putin. It was even cool to transmit to Vlad that he would have more flexibility to meet Putin's wishes after the election.

Democrats have a long history of having an unnatural affinity for Russia and their communist system.

Now Putin is public enemy #1 in the eyes of liberals. Why? Not because of his abysmal human rights record. Not because of his third world dictator tactics. But because they need someone to blame for Hillary's loss at the polls. LOL.

That's because they've been indoctrinated from within our borders by them over the last 60 years. And isn't it funny that the vast majority of these indoctrinated are middle class and upper class whites, not inner city destitute and disadvantaged individuals.

To the majority of apolitical Americans the gig is up, and it's coming to light that certain individuals who should act according to their job as apolitical arbiters of the law were anything but that.

Seems like certain Republicans are in on the coup against Trump as well.

Green: A Republican Member of Congress Told Me He Is ‘Strongly Considering Impeachment’

I have no words...

Looks like a pretty weak claim to me. For now I’ll file it with “anonymous sources tell me...”

“I’ve actually had a Republican member who said, ‘I’m strongly considering impeachment now,’ and I can only say to you that my suspicion is that there are a good many others who believe we’ve reached that point,” Green said.
