Pruitt: nothing has changed with Jauan Jennings

Same here. Felt like the kid was a cancer and keeping him would be anti-productive when it comes to changing the culture.

Turns out that keeping him may have the opposite effect.

So the most competitive, best pound for pound football player on the team is helping change the culture? I'll allow it.

I would not plug this guy into the lineup anywhere. His personality is too volatile and his attitude may be masked but not for long. I hope he has a great season, goes pro and makes millions, but I just don't see it happening. Prove me wrong, please!

I didn't think he should have been allowed to return.

I'm glad he seems to be doing good and so hope he proves how wrong I was.

I didnt think an interim head coach had the right to dismiss him in the first place. That should've been a decision left for the incoming head coach to make. Considering what we know now about Jones and the previous staff, I dont blame him for what he did. Was it wise? No. Misguided and immature? Yes. But I understand his frustration.

Take a crap on your interim boss’s desk and see what happens.

Agree he really screwed up, especially with his mouth. There are a lot of players and people who made mistakes and turned it around. Wasn’t Alvin Kamara in Nick’s doghouse? I say keep him on a one more screw up and out and turn him into a premier NFL WR and great mentor for young football players.

This whole thing is funny.

Pruitt says: no news on this topic.

Internet blog writer posts a 'news story' about how Pruitt says there's no news.

VolNation poster starts a thread about blog story that says there's no news.

WTHeck? Why didn't the blog writer write about something else, maybe something that was news? And after he didn't do that, why didn't the VolNation poster read the no-news news blog, nod his head, shrug his shoulders, and go on to other blogs without feeling the need to start a thread? And why the heck am I responding to this no-news thread about a no-news blog about a no-news comment from our head coach? What the honest heck?!?

In the exact same boat as you Behr, had the same sentiment, I was ready to move on from him. But by all accounts, he’s met and exceeded all markers that Fulmer and Pruitt laid out for him, all which required focus, discipline and, dare I say, resiliency. Appears I was 100% wrong and I’m now excited to think he’ll be back out there in the fall. From a talent, playmaking and competitiveness standpoint, this team needs him on the field.

I think what a lot of folks in this thread need is some shut up and let CJP do his job. Each bottle is free, so are powder dosages. have some.

Anyone crazy enough to think they could sit out 11 weeks, smoke weed and lay around, then suddenly come in and play qb vs Vandy would fit right in.
