Want To Talk About Watergate? Talk About Obama, Not Trump.

Was using the irs to target conservative groups lawful?

An investigation of Lois Lerner by the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI, completed in 2015, found "substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia" but "found no evidence that any IRS official acted based on political, corrupt, or other inappropriate motives that would support a criminal prosecution."

I don't expect that to satisfy you but that was the conclusion reached by investigators.

Ironic considering the past escapades of the FBI, CIA and the NSA under Obama 👍

There's just as much out there to investigate this idea that Obama acted in a shady, possibly illegal manner involving the Trump campaign as there is to investigate the Trump/Russia collusion theory. I'd rather it all just go away, but if you're open to one side being investigation, you should be willing to accept the other side being investigated as well. You either want justice(which is what the left claims) or you're just pissed your candidate lost. If it's the latter, get over the sour grapes and move on.

Sad for your party, Tick Tock!

Frank, just curious what do you think the typical reaction will be once they find out the truth?

There's actually much more convincing evidence of Obama and Hillary being involved in crimes than Trump or anyone from his campaign.

Thank you for finding that. That is what I remembered from this. I guess you are willing to agree that Limbaugh is full of manure then, right?

Sorry but hiring Manafort as campaign manager was just a bad idea. There were plenty of red flags about him. Without this hire (as well as Michael Flynn), I don't think there is a Trump campaign/Russian collusion probe. When does Trump accept some responsibility for this? Never. Witch hunt, fake news, hoax, blah blah blah...

So Michael Flynn who may end up being cleared of all wrongdoing was a bad hire?

Or the FBI was looking for Trump-Russian crimes that didn't happen?

Seriously.

Were these investigators part of the Obama DOJ?

Who appointed the judge?

Seriously.

Not true. Obama was reluctant to take action against Russia's meddling in the campaign because he didn't want the perception to exist that he was interfering for politically motivated reasons. He went out of his way (too much so) to stay out of the campaign. Hillary has been very critical of him for this.

Uhhh, he has already pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. That's pretty much a felony. Yes, he was a dreadful hire who brought conflicts of interest galore aboard including things not even associated with Russia. See his lobbying efforts in Turkey.

If you’re right it dies quickly. If it does have legs and goes on its as bad as Watergate if they don’t have a valid legal reason that stands up to scrutiny. Simple as that.

Listen. I don’t want to see anything Watergate level out of either camp. But if they did it they need to fry.

Watergate was amateur hour compared to this.

Obama weaponized the CIA director, (Brennan) DNI (Clapper), DOJ (Yates, Carlin, Ohr, etc) FBI (Comey, McCabe, Rybicki, Kortan, Strzok, Page, et al)

Watergate was a failed break in. This was an illegal spying operation.

Scary and sickening. The media and the Dems are in complete denial. The media was complicit.

C'mon man. He didn't go public with information or go after Russia but his people were feeding info to the IC and unmasking Trump related people at a frenetic pace. They were also leaking like crazy.

You do know that simply saying "not true" doesn't make it not true, right?

You make me think of this.

Lol.

Hillary is and has been crooked since she got into career politics. She's been around so long she no longer can hide from that. Obama was a bafoon but Hillary lost the election because she's Hillary not because Obama wouldn't step in.

You and weezer would make a helluva comedy team.

I don't know, you make me laugh quite often. Neither political party is perfect(very, very far from it imo), so seeing you accuse one while constantly defending your own, for the same actions even, is hilarious.

The idea that he cost Clinton in any way is comedy gold. It's like nobody knew what Hillary was and still doesn't know.
