Iran nuclear program. It is a lie

No substance? Like proving with a conservative publication that Obama did have the authority to make this deal when several people here are making the baseless claim that he didn't?
You just seem to call people out and want to debate them over and over and over and over. What's the point?

I'm genuinely curious about your "no substance" comment, but you've abandoned that point. You guys act like I'm the only one who argues here. Do you need safe spaces?

I've barely even been in the politics forum the last few weeks.

Honest question, why am I the one who gets called out? If your problem with me is that I supposedly argue so much, am rough around the edges, and don't have substance to my posts, then wtf does this trolling get a pass? Why don't other people who literally have nothing of substance to say spout off incessantly and then everybody acts like I'm the only one who is rough around the edges. VFJ has done nothing but troll me. Who's going to call him out?

anyone but America right huff?

Huff can't get mad at his hero

Doesn't bother him

Nope, let's call out huff because he has links from conservative authors and points we don't like.

Inspections, oversight etc.

I am just trying to understand the purpose of withdrawal.

I posted the deal on inspections earlier, essentially inspectors have to ask to conduct an inspection and Iran can delay up to a month. So the inspections are worthless.

I mean this in the least offensive way possible because I think I'm similar but you come across as a dick

Haven't you complained about the authority to commit troops congress has given POTUS? I've agreed with you on that but you seem to be ok with it now.

I would say a little better than worthless. How are we better off?

Even if the deal was weak, we did have the right to inspect and monitor. Now we have nothing. How are we better off?

I posted the inspection protocol earlier. There is no teeth to them, if Iran can delay the inspection for a month they are useless.

Since I know you do subscribe to the idea that congress can relinquish power to POTUS, I know you have to view this as valid.

I'm not totally certain that he has legal authority in a original intent reading of the constitution (I would have to do some research), but I do know that it's congress's role to declare war and generally speaking, it's POTUS's job to handle foreign relations.

We don't even have the weak rights to inspection. So, why give up something in favor of nothing?

We gave up the ability to sanction them for nothing. There was no benefit in the deal for us or our allies, it was a legacy deal with the only winner being Iran.

I don't see how this has a negative effect on us and I'm hoping we can come up with something better. If we can't Trump owns it and it should be an easy campaign point in 2020.

Correct but this deal was in essence a treaty which Congress must give approval on. Yes I know they abdicated power on this and Obama used it.

Any way we can get our 1.7 billion back? Maybe trade some cash for clunker cars we have leftover from the last regime.
