He asked fans to pack out Neyland for the O&W Game. We didn't. He says we didn't and that makes him the bad guy. There were plenty of fans that chose not to attend. Just because he is new here doesn't mean he should lower his standards.

How said anything about him being a bad guy? He just said something stupid, thats all. He is an unproven coach calling out a fanbase that has been put through the wringer for a decade. He should understand that and shut up. Is there any doubt that vs fans will pack out Charlotte? Nope not at all.

Win the SEC and you can get away with some ****. Those facilities didn't build themselves. I can see whybSaban doesn't allow his assistants to talk to the media. This guy needs some serious grooming. "You didn't draft me. I chose you."

UT fans are so beaten down they accept this crap without question.

I don't think he should take it easy on the fans. We didn't show up like he expected, he let us know. I don't think what he said was stupid or that he should shut up it.

His lack of understanding of the wringer we have been put thru is irrelevant to the reality of the fans not filling up Neyland.

Stop living in the past. It's time to move foward with our new HC and our new AD.

I've defended him, bc of the other side who immediately throw him under bus. You claim one side defends him. Well same can be said for those dummies wanting him fired and some people haven't seen the game or heard quote. I don't care if he calls me a horses ass. I'll be there cheering them on in the fall. And anytime you sayanything the pressure gets turned up a little more, so you better win. Jones was nice and we canned him. Fulmer won a national championship and we could have cared less and fired him, we all knew Dooley was an idiot and he got four years somehow but we still fired him. No matter what, we will fire you if you lose.

We've had a crappy winter/spring with far too much rain. If people decided to do other things yesterday instead of going to a meaningless spring game, good for them. Pruitt needs to check himself a little here. The guy simply has no business judging the motives of fans.

So much less is asked of us fans. All we have to do is show up to watch a sport we love anyway, on a nice day.

Doesn't sound like CJP was asking for anything but excellence, to me. And isn't that what we want in a coach, a pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the program?

If we finish the season ranked 5th nationally which means we just missed the playoffs then the coach didn’t do his job either? Should I show up for the free football and keep all the money I give to the University to watch the crap show of the last ten years? I would’ve been there but my kid had a basketball tournament that I would rather watch an be with him every time. We went to every home game, Tech game and Bama game in that crappy T town hole. Shut up and win games. Will judge the results on the field. We don’t have to be petted but 65k at a spring game is really good after last year especially. Also, tired of seeing players quit. Run em out of town and build this thing but just don’t comment on the fan base. Do your JOB Pruitt and they will come.
