Say the liberals get their wish and somehow, some way, Trump leaves the office before his term is up. How hard do they go after Pence?

All of this BS is a waste of time. Time that would be better spent trying to find someone to beat Trump in the next election.

This is a great read. I would suggest that our resident Trumpsters read it so they won't be blindsided later.


If you want another good read, although dated, it's really just a very interesting history of Trump's past dealing with oligarchs, mobsters, and other shady riffraff. If you liked the New Yorker piece, you'll love this one, too.

The smart choice for Dims would be Jim Webb, but not much chance they'd go there. I can't see him pandering to all their "ites", "ists", and "isms". I think he might be the only Dem who wouldn't be a GOP lightning rod.

I am sure they would make something up. Democrats are now famous for fabricating conspiracy theories. I woukd say if Pence was POTUS, there would still be whining and meltdowns just like we have seen since Trump got elected. Some liberal will connect Pence to some illegal meeting or some other kind of bogus thing. I suspect this would happen until dems get their way so they can get back to royally screwing us over again.

And I’ve watched the reaction to Trump.

And with each president it’s gotten a little worse.

No, I actually think Trump's problem is far more about being an outsider. The telling point is that it's hard to tell who opposes Trump most frequently and virulently between such congressional notables as lil' chuckie schumer (d), lindsey graham (r), and mccain (r).

They've got a cozy little club playing with our money, and they don't like anyone disturbing them or threatening how they peddle influence for profit. If you want to really get into influence, bribes, and corruption with both foreign and domestic funding, congress is the place to start.

As far as the other part. There's nothing more hypocritical than a lib preaching compassion, and that's why dims will always attack anyone that isn't them - and maybe some of those, too.

Your last three sentences sum up exactly why our government is such a sh!tshow. Both sides are more concerned with which side is better instead of being actual adults, coming together and doing whats best for this country.

The Trump investigation is one of the more bipartisan things we have going, but when people actually come together to do what's best for the country, people start claiming that it's now insiders vs. outsiders. Maybe it's just that Trump rightfully deserves to go.
