MJ is and will always be the GOAT. Lebron might be #2. It’s that simple. Can’t believe this is still going on.

To you..... Just leave it at that..... Rings can’t be a determining factor when doing it or Bill Russell is the GOAT. Had a bigger realistic impact on the NBA than MJ had as well.

Few things from Simonton today...

On Taylor...

It's unclear how well he's actually doing at CB (just been two practices), but Pruitt is certainly very high on Taylor's potential at the position. I think Alontae would be best suited at DB but he wants to play WR.

Do we add an OL grad transfer?

Let's see what happens in another week or two after schools are done with spring practice and you start to see some guys make it known they intend to transfer. I do believe that Tennessee would take a grad CB over an OL if it only had a single spot.

Thoughts on QB recruiting...

Been interesting, mostly just because it doesn't seem like the Vols are pushing really hard for anyone right now. Sam Howell was way more interested in Tennessee than the reverse. We'll see what happens there in the future. I will note that this class (the 2019 crop) is not considered elite or deep, whereas many scouts/coaches feel like the 2020 group is loaded at the QB position.

Thoughts on Pruitt's recruiting so far?

Solid B. The staff did what it could to close the 2018 class. Certainly, some late adds appeared odd. The 2019 group has an early solid foundation with Lampley, Jackson and Cox. Wanya Morris is a Top 25 prospect and the Vols are at least seriously in the hunt for 5-stars like Crouch and Wright.

Best position coach?

I think Rocker has clearly gotten the attention of that DL room. Could say the same for Johnson with the WRs.

Any group been a pleasant surprise?

Honestly not sure any one unit has surprised. Tennessee is certainly pleased that guys like Tuttle and Kongbo appear to be full-filling their potential. Ty Chandler showed the staff in the scrimmage he's clearly the team's best playmaker — even if he doesn't have the prototypical size they want at the position.

Do you anticipate any transfers from UT after spring?

I'd imagine some guys chose to play elsewhere once spring practice is wrapped up.

Update on instate prospects?

Getting Lance on campus for a 2 night visit is big. As mentioned in another question, Vols have made up ground and are in a nice spot for Woodi Washington. Guys like Trey Knox and Tymon Mitchell remain targets.

Tennessee continues to evaluate (and will be big during summer camp season) prospects like Joe Anderson, Kane Patterson, Adonis Otey, Jashon Watkins.

Hey ziti, you see that story about 2 guys arrested in Philly for silently waiting for a friend in Starbucks? I thought of you when I read it, definitely doesn't pass your "smell test." Gotta be more to the story than simply racist cops (in Philly, mind you) who just arrest people for sitting in a Starbucks quietly.

👃🏻👃🏻👃🏻

I’ll see if I can find it.

You’re doing it wrong...

Hey Bruin I think Kyle Alexander is a Forward.

You must be preeeeeety drunk to risk cranking that disaster back up.
