I'm sure Pruitt thinks 6-7 wins isn't very good for a program like Tennessee. He knows a season like that won't be competitive in the SEC and will put the Vols below midpack in-conference. Acknowledging that lets recruits know that he's not okay with where the program is and isn't going to pretend it's acceptable. Coaches that tout a bowl game as a worthy goal attract players who accept less. Pruitt is going after players who think 6-7 wins is a bad year and want much more. Sounds like a good strategy to me.

Pruitt told a recruit we wont be very good this year, but we will next year. Nothing we didn't know but I found that interesting. He's certainly more honest than Butch.

We need to come up with 6 wins, and the extra practices that come with a bowl game. Would be huge for this team next year.

me too, but having daughters, and understanding that there are some things they can't control, i try to get them to focus on what they can control.......

I've said my piece re: cheerleaders. Empowerment is a big thing, whether it's early in life or later on. Either way, we have Practice 11 to crap our pants about.

ZOMG did y'all hear that Byrd is on the outside at WR now? What does it meeeaaann?

Agree.

It means that Byrd better start zeroing in on what he wants to do and fast or

he gone.

Fant went back to RB after spending 1 practice at Linebacker.

Butler, Emerson, and Crosby are still on the O-Line.

I think Alontae stays at DB.

Basilio covered this today. Said Jubran and the board members went to Nashville expecting a rubber stamp and got ambushed.

So it ends up being a good idea if the Gov doesn’t get to stack it with his yes persons? Lotta people underestimated the legislature if so.

They're evaluating Byrd at different positions to see where he can contribute. They're planning to play some guys on offense and defense to keep the best athletes on the field. They're going to have to move pieces around to do that.

Nice. I was going to go too but cheapest ticket I could find was $150 for nose bleeds. If I can find that Saturday I might just pull the trigger.

That’s a good deal imo man. I paid $100 for nose bleeds for game 3 of blackhawks last year and thought it was a steal. What a helluva game that was
