Fbi raids trump lawyer

It's been explained that Mueller's team uncovered information suggesting possible criminal activity by Cohen that was then passed on to the FBI to pursue (or not), as it was outside of his purview. Mueller did not order the raid, nor is he running that investigation.

Let’s call it what it is. Muller has nothing connecting Trump to any illegal activity so he grows a hailmarry on the SD deal.

Then, you should have no problem with a picture I.D. in order to vote.
That's correct, I don't have a problem with it. But getting a picture ID should be far simpler than waiting in a line for 3 hours and forcing poor people to spend money they don't have to obtain one.

How do they buy their cigarettes and 40s without an ID?

Correct..."On the surface".

Rosenstein reportedly wanted Cohen investigated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. If so, why?

Like any good wolf trap, this set-up, first and foremost, protects the hunters. By referring the matter, Mueller and Rosenstein protected themselves from criticism of expanding the investigation.

Growing a hailmarry definitely sounds like something you'd get from a few minutes riding bareback with Stormy.

So, you actually think Trump was involved in illegal activity with the Daniels deal? I personally don't. I doubt anything can be tied to Trump or the campaign. He's a scumbag, but everyone already knew that. Cohen may be in trouble, though, if he committed bank fraud.

As for the Russia case, I think it's perfectly reasonable for Rosenstein to request an update from Mueller and an estimated timeline to closure. This can't be an open ended investigation. As much as I hate Trump, I'm ready for this to wrap up.

Yes, because participating in the republic isn't worth a little inconvenience. All the while, it should be as expensive an inconvenient as possible for me to exercise my 2A rights.

No I don’t. I think this “investigation” has morphed into a cripple Trumps presidency by any means necessary witch hunt.

If they find emails where Trump directed him to pay Avenatti, he's also implicated. The real problem comes from doing something so stupid that they now have opened Pandora's Box.

The Nixon investigation lasted 2 years and 3 months. This is just getting ramped up.

Well, as I understand it, Cohen lives in and works out of New York, so makes sense they would be the ones to pursue this. I actually blame Cohen for this. The NDA was in place. By admitting the payoff, he brought on the scrutiny. It's warranted.
