I've stated MULTIPLE times I support the right to own a gun for self defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also don't believe property rights or the right to self defense gives you the right to bury land mines in your yard or carry a machine gun into Neyland Stadium.

THERE ARE REASONABLE AND RATIONAL LIMITS!!

I have a right to defend myself with a machine gun. I just don’t have a right to wield one on someone else’s property (neyland stadium).

That’s big of you Luth. But as a right your opinion isn’t required. Neither is mine. It stands on its own merits.

Your rationalization to give the government administration power over a right thus dillutes it to more like a privilege then. That’s wrong. Many people believe NFA 1934 is over reaching.

So take your reasonable and rational crap elsewhere. There are already too many gun laws. We’re gonna vehemently fight anymore.

I'm sure you will fight them, but you're going to be in an ever shrinking minority and on the losers side.

How about defending yourself with mustard gas?

How about a public park? Or a state owned university campus? How about a public beach?

Do you have the right to have anti aircraft guns mounted in your front yard? How about some ICBMs?

The government only has to live by the rules of the Constitution, the rest of us dummies has about a 4" thick set of rules to live by.

Agreed. My question, for example, I have fingertips and not toetips but I can tiptoe and not tipfinger.
You know what I keep wondering. Why does an elevator that only serve 2 floors have 2 buttons? When you get on, you want to go to the other floor, so only one button would seem necessary. I mean it's not like you will push the button of the floor you are on...

How does one defend themself with mustard gas?

Is your argument right now that mustard gas and icbms are equal to ar 15s?

I routinely defend myself with mustard gas after grilling beer brats and washing them down with some Shiner Bocks.

Current Active Shooter Protocol: Run, Hide, Fight.
Liberal version: Run, Hide, Protest.
Conservative Version: Aim, Slack, Squeeze.
ND40 Version: Point, Press, Poot.

Only the last two give you a reasonable chance of survival.

Why do you even need an elevator for only 2 floors? Take the stairs.

Then let's do a little math experiment...

X = the number of AR-15's (and variants) currently owned by civilians;
Y = the number of AR-15's (and variants) used in mass shootings;
Leading us to Z, which is Y divided by X to ascertain the percentage of AR-15's (and variants) used in mass shootings.

Now...when you get to Z, would you say that banning AR-15's (and variants) based on this number is reasonable...or rational?

I already know the answer, I just want to see your explanation for it.

I want to know how luther feels about buying the Garand rifle. He has not said anything about it and after all it is truly a weapon of war. Should they be banned as well I wonder? Maybe if I paint it black.

Uhhh...Garand. Pronounced "gARand". Automatically on the list. Assault spelling.

My argument is what it has always been, people have the right to "arms" in order to defend themselves but there are rational and reasonable limitations.

There is much more to gun regulation than the prevention of mass shootings. (that would be just a small variable) Guns used in crimes / murders is the more significant issue.

I have no clue nor do I care. Put it to the x / y test and see how it stacks up.

My lack of interest in types of guns may be like your lack of interest in types of rocks, or tennis shoes (pick something in which you have little to no interest.)
