Pope: There Is No Hell

Oh THAT'S judgmental?

****ing rich.

Not since I was a young boy, always but I don't **** other dudes' ladies, and yes, just about every time I stub my toe or grow agitated with inanimate objects.

Next!

So by gods word you just admitted your a theif blasphemer and adultorer. Welcome to the club. But you can be forgiven like many others.
Personally I think people don’t have a problem with belief in God it’s more of a morality issue. We don’t want to give up the things we enjoy so we make excuses for ourselves to not do the will of God. I’ve been there and still struggle.

If Jesus partook of alcohol, he would never have drank too much. That couldn't be said of us.

By too much do you mean to the point of being drunk? Passed out? Hung over?

Is that due to him being God in the flesh or his restraint? since we know he physically was born a human just like us. Meaning he felt hunger, thirst, and pain no different than we do.

If what I just told you qualifies me as those three things, then your God kind of disgusts me. If I am a thieving adulterer then I may as well start taking what isn't mine and screwing whomever I please.

He was God in the flesh and everything he did was right. He did always the things that pleased the Father.

Isaiah 65:8 (KJV)
8 Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

Juice is found in the cluster of the grape.

Proverbs 20:1 (KJV)
1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Proverbs 23:29-35 (KJV)
29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
35 They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

that's the fermentation process.

I understand the fermentation process.

I am open to the idea but lack evidence to commit.
What if I told you the Bible discusses how to test for disease in our body or that how to not let 70 million people die from the Black Plague. Is that a hint of the evidence you will need. I will be happy to give you my phone number and discuss any questions you have. And if I don’t know I will find oit

I always thought the Bible was just a history book but it’s also a science book as well as a geography book.

This is true. I talk to OC frequently as well. He is a pastor, a brother in Christ, and a great guy. Helps me stay grounded, prays with me and for me. We need each other, these are perilous times.

By the Proverbs, for us, I would say any is too much. God is able to do whatever he wants. One drink will affect your judgement.

Having this discussion many times In the past and now in the present. Given the dangerous descriptions we are given of wine throughout the Bible, I wonder why the writers didn't not use a very different name exclusively when or if they wanted to show a complete difference in describing alcoholic wine and juice. I have my own thoughts on why,

Lack of a diverse vocabulary?

I know that most on here disagree with my stand on the subject, but that's alright with me. I still believe and am fully persuaded that alcohol is the devils poison for mankind. :hi:
