I'm not that familiar with WV's roster other than Grier, who gives them a lot of offensive firepower. It's true that we have significantly outrecruited them.

Picking up a win vs. WVU or UF in Neyland would would be a confidence and momentum booster going forward. I'm not counting on it, but it would be encouraging to see.

I really feel we beat Florida.

Til the UGA game...Tim Worley. Guess you were the same mindset you are now. I thought we had something. Charles McRae at NT should have been a warning sign.
I was really excited about that season...I had a totally different feeling going into it, I was also 20. In retrospect everybody should have seen that coming, but I do love how that team finished the season...they didn't quit.

“Roster is full of quitters...busts...chicken crap...garbage.” Something tells me those human beings wouldn’t take kindly to those comments.

How do you see them? Did they quit? Did they work hard? Did they rise above the situation? Are they creme of the crop players? Are the guys who cycle out because they can't or won't cut it not throwaways as football players?

I see them as underdeveloped and undercoached college athletes whose best days of football are ahead of them. I’m not going to take a dump on these kids because of how last season unfolded. It’s over, in the past. But I blame the previous coaches WAY more than I blame the players. Attitude reflects leadership. I have a feeling there’s a much better attitude now in charge. Not everyone will get on board and those kids will move on. The rest will give their all this fall. Looking forward to watching!

Wow..the pumpers are really liking this..11..that's impressive...and all you had to do was attack me and call me names for being honest.

You see what you want to see, I see what I don't want to see in this team. I'm not trying to be mean...I really hope you guys are right and not just blind and deaf..I will be ecstatic to be proven wrong, but I will believe it when I see it.

It doesn't have anything to do with pumping sunshine. You've been dumping on this team all off-season and it's exhausting. I'm under no delusions that this team is championship caliber at the moment. But I think it's safe to say, based on the response to my comment, that everyone is tired of hearing your disparaging remarks against young men who sacrifice an awful lot to entertain us on Saturdays. You can spin it however you want now, but calling someone a quitter is an indictment on their character, and you don't know these guys. Maybe pull for a team you like better? :dunno:

I saw a team compete like crazy in 2016...last year was an anomaly in my mind.

Spread some sunshine in here people. Mr. Champions of Life is down doing the dirty on Saban as his gopher.

We now have a real AD with a real HC with a real coaching staff with a strong nucleus of real players that are now giving real effort in a real system toward making a real run at a successful season. So let's buck up in here and get real as fans. IMO the only question is whether it will be a 2, 3, or 4 game improvement in the W column.

So you do not hold the players accountable at all?..That is where we differ, and I would appreciate it if people understood that. I am not trying just take a dump on guys for no reason. They didn't want to work, so they didn't work, they didn't want to compete so they quit. They would rather be embarrased than to put forth any effort. I saw zero effort out of 80 percent of the team.

If this team competes and tries I will applaud them all the way no matter how bad it gets. Pruitt will try to get them to, but I just doubt that he can. I think too many of them are not interested in doing what it takes.

Once again...I really really really hope I am wrong.

Zero effort is ridiculously off. I never doubted that our team played hard. Sure maybe at the end of the bama and UGA games they quit but that is what it is. LSU game even after a hurricane and two muffed punts our team, who had no leader as HC and no idea the direction of the program were right in that game and playing hard as hell.

Depends on the lens you are looking thru. Sextom has a fiduciary duty to do what is best for his clients. If he let his emotional attachment to any school, even if it was an alma mater, interfere then he is not doing good job. As UT fans, that pisses us off. But it's his job to use the circumstances that exist to leverage his clients and make them the most money possible.

I get it. He's still a slime bucket.
