Fact of the matter is this legislature isn't going to stand up to the Governor, who wants to be the next President of UT, and prevent him from hiring the people who will ultimately hire him. Raja Kubron's ties with the Haslams are so deep and so shady that he really is nothing but a parrot for Haslam agendas.

Like, say for example, never bothering to properly vet a subpar coach with questions regarding his judgement while at Penn State, or coming off Schiano Sunday with the idea STILL that John Currie was doing a great job as AD.

No legitimate businessman with the sense God gave a rock would have thought that. So if SB2260 passes, prepare yourselves for years more of Kubron/Haslam collusion on the BoT.

Leach. Offense could have been fun and the press conferences would have been gold. I do think Gundys mullet would have been the most glorious thing for a UT coach to have though.

Gundy had a golden chance to win the big 12 this year and totally dropped the ball. OSU has a lot of recourses too.

Both would have been a ton of fun, sold tix, and put up huge offensive numbers......

I think they are just 7-9 win coaches with an occasional run, but will never be Championship winners. Champions do it on both sides of the ball, they don't. They are or have been at schools with great resources in leagues not nearly as deep as the SEC....and haven't really won anything big.

That has always mystified me as well, but I think the answer to that crazy question is that they are just really stupid people used to getting their way, and they don't give a crap what the result is as long as they are the ones calling the shots. When embarrassing monumental failure happens, such as with the Cleveland Browns, they just blame others and are never accountable to themselves for their own stupidity.


When I was a flooring specialist, sometimes we had these dumb butt DIY homeowners trying to tell us how to do our job, and standing over us directing or questioning every move you made...we usually just walked off the job quickly and told them to do it themselves...most of the time they would have enough sense to call you back later to fix their stupid mistakes and get out of our way.

This Haslam crowd is different...they never acknowledge the huge mess they make of everything, and would rather have a jacked up mess than to acknowledge the undeniable, and abundantly obvious fact that they don't know their butt from a hole in the ground.
