Dont care. Even if he was a good guy, the federal government corrupts everyone. So just another corrupt POS that gets to live a cushy life while doing absolutely nothing on the taxpayer dime.

Need a special Counsel to look into his mustache

He's had that thing for like 20 years, at least. Either he's like Samson and if it's ever cut off he loses his power or he's got a side gig doing remakes of '70s porn.

By all accounts he's just a war hawk with a temper. Not the stable, calm influence we need in there keeping Trump in check.

I thought Trump didn’t listen to the people around him anyway.

And you’re slipping. You failed to connect this somehow to Trump Russia collusion in your post.

The ole’ join the military to get out of the military ploy.

Bolton's own words:

He had supported the war but wrote in his Yale University 25th reunion book: "I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy. I considered the war in Vietnam already lost."

So he joined the Maryland national guard to avoid getting drafted.

We liberals would be cool with it, but I think a lot on the right wouldn't want a socialist liberal Jew running things.

No you wouldn’t. You would see “Trump has nominated...” and then it would be “Quick! Mobilize! To the twitters!” without even realizing which possible appointment you were *****ing about.

Yep. He did say that and he joined the Guard after completing his BA at Yale. As was a legal policy. And he publicly owned his rationale. He didn’t run to Canada, he wasn’t a draft dodger as you were trying to imply.

Yeah, I guess the fact that names like "Devos" "Carson" "Pruitt" "Ross" etc followed the word "nominated" had nothing to do with it.

He said he didn't want to die over there, and have Ted Kennedy give the land back to the enemy later.

Nope. I really don’t think it does.

And I’m also not a fan of Devos or Carson. On Bolton I’m glad he didn’t wind up at State. In this role I’m not certain he can’t be effective (I preferred McMaster). But you guys simply won’t even allow an appointment without a huge ***** fest.

The butt hurt over Haspel to the CIA is absolutely ridiculous and a slander campaign.
