Facebook announced Friday night that it has suspended Cambridge Analytica — a data analysis and communications firm best known for its work for President Donald Trump's campaign — over concerns that it and other parties improperly obtained and stored users' personal information.

Just to give people a time frame: In June 2016, the Trump campaign hired Cambridge Analytica to take over its data operations. In June 2016 Kushner, Trump Jr., and Manafort had the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Russian Agents.

President Donald Trump's attorney John Dowd called for the end of special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian election meddling Saturday, just a day after the Justice Department announced the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

"I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe's boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt dossier," Dowd told CNN in a statement, reacting to the news of McCabe's firing.

....once the Hail Mary falls incomplete, Trump knows it's over. If, as a nation, we somehow allow them to successful execute this Hail Mary, we will have earned the scorn and indignation that will rightfully come our way for generations to come. This attempt by Trump to end the investigation is so idiotically transparent that few can take it seriously.

The publicly-known factual contours of the episode make this seem highly unlikely. Almost certainly, Sessions fired McCabe because Trump hated McCabe and wanted to punish him and to discredit one of Comey’s corroborating witnesses. Trump’s endzone dance will help McCabe make that case, which he can press in a wrongful termination lawsuit, and which will also open up for discovery more of Trump’s interactions with Sessions.

Yes, never mind what the IG reported to the FBI OPR and that they recommended his firing.

His firing — which was recommended by the FBI office that handles discipline — stems from a Justice Department inspector general investigation that found McCabe authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to the media about a Clinton-related case, then misled investigators about his actions in the matter, people familiar with the matter have said.

You don't think McCabe knew this was coming (and more) after the Strzok and Page texts hit the fan? Why do you think he retired way early, when mandatory retirement at the FBI is 57 years and he is only 49? Was he trying to get out before he got caught?

Too bad, so sad.

Anybody who has been paying attention already knows the answer to this question. Trump is easily the most dishonest, vindictive and corrupt President in modern history.

Not so fast slappy. William Jefferson Clinton waves hello from the cheap seats. He actually was impeached by the house.

Thus far there are no such charges or articles levied against Trump! Might be one day (doubt it with what’s thus far been revealed) but right now your statement is factually incorrect!

He’s not a Boy Scout by a long shot. But neither is he a charged or impeached President either.
