Pruitt must have not felt confident in JG as our starting QB.
I just hope JG did not pitch a fit like he did in the GT game. When he heard about this.
Man This man did not transfer to Tennessee on his last year of eligibility to be a back up. He will be competing for a Starting Job. If he was coming here to be a back up he could have stayed a Stanford. He will be the starter week one imo. Trust me..This a new offense so every Qb on this roster is on even playing field. Im glad he brought in a new qb kinda spice things up for Camp.
I wonder if the forerunners of Kirk Herbstreit at Turner Sports had showed Heath Shuler seething on the sidelines behind Andy Kelly, if that would have affected his reputation? I dont want my backup QB happy as a lark. I want him visually emoting that hes better than the guy on the field and wanting out on the field. I wish my 19 year olds fits were of the competitive variety.
And he knows it too. He wouldnt be coming if he wasnt darn sure hed start.
This^^^ really. I saw real flashes of quality from JG and when he gets into it his enthusiasm is infectious.
Will new coaching channel his inner All Pro QB?
Absolutely correct
I never saw it from JG..small flashes here and there..but im not sure he will ever put it together like we expect him too.... his accuracy is an issue.. kid can throw 100 mph but cant hit a garage door.. this is Kellers spot to lose IMO and he's not even on campus till summer

Have you seen Chryst stats? He throws shorter passes while being less accurate.
Career high of 6.7 ypa. JG was over 7ypa as a freshman. Over 9 ypa his last four starts.
