Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

I can think of no better use of our tax dollar. But if not, I'm sure there would millions of people instantly willing to contribute to the fund.

Will these be a part of your buyback?

The question was do you agree with that requirement and do you think it should be expanded to cover the type of weapon used in FL.

Handguns are more commonly used in the commission of crimes. I think the feeling is that the overall threat to society is greater from the constant use of handguns in crimes than in the bi-monthly massacre of innocent people. (at least among the 18-21 year old range)

Has nothing to do with that. But anyway.

Federal Law says 18 years old for a rifle. An AR-15 is a rifle.

You want it changed? Contact your Representative and Senators.

What the hell good would that do?

Are you kidding? If an illegal gun is being sold on the black market for $500 and it suddenly becomes $5000 the pool of potential buyers decreases. Maybe unemployed high school dropouts would no longer be part of the target market.

So you refuse to even answer whether or not you agree and if you think it should be expanded????

Interesting.......

You might find this surprising, but I have absolutely zero use for a bump stock. And if they banned them tonight, I wouldn't shed a single tear or say a single word.

I agree 100%. After Vegas we were talking at work and just said take them who cares.

After the shock and horror from that shooting you know what I first thought? Thank God that moron could obviously not handle a weapon. That many rounds down range should have easily been doubled on fatalities I think.

I think you missed my sarcasm....

We all know you have full auto stocks in your basement.

How is my answer unclear? An AR-15 is a rifle. 18 years old for a rifle. I'm perfectly content with that law as it is.

How many 18 year olds buy those anyway?

I can name one right off hand.

I was just asking out of curiosity, don't be so defensive.

And 21 for handguns? Agree or think it should also be 18?

Or it would cause a gigantic boom in black market trade. Are you kidding?

I mean, really.

We learned nothing from prohibition?

You'd just be making incredibly horrible human beings more powerful.

You've already admitted that you have no knowledge of firearms or laws associated with them. Why continue the argument?

Because it's amusing to me how easy it is for someone with little knowledge to shoot holes in the arguments of the most hard core gun nuts. Plus it helps me understand how we have devolved to the point we now find ourselves.
