Wilhoite is as smooth as they come at the wideout position. He is long and a solid route runner that has shown steady improvement at FRA in Nashville. He was supposed to visit last weekend, but never made it to town. He told Volquest recently that Tennessee is back in the main mix because of the coaching change. Wide receiver is a spot where the Vols have to get better and they will put a lot of focus on that position in 2019.
I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this, but am I the only one that has questions about Wilhoite? I watched him a few times in person, wasn't all that impressed. Didn't dominate like a big time prospect should. Very athletic and looks the part, but wanted to see more against athletes that were not his caliber. JFWIW.....
Not sure but regardless between:
Lance Wilhoite
Shamar Nash
Trey Knox
Jashon Watkins
Kendrell Scurry
TJ Sheffield
We could potentially sign all our WR from TN and might have the best WR class in the country which is amazing!
Next level down, imo
Keveon Mullins
Xavier Malone

Georgia already has the 2 top WRs in the country verbally committed. I think we could finish strong at WR this year, but unless something major happens, we wont beat UGA WR class.
Auburn has the best single WR talent committed right now. George Pickens of Hoover(65-66 215-220lb WR) is flat out silly. Hoover doesnt even use him that much but he dominates. Dominated IMG and was the best player on the field visibly. He runs punts back and all at that size. Hes absolutely crazy athletic for a dude that big. Probably will be a 5 Star by the end of the Summer. They have Bo Nix too so Im sure theyll get another big time WR.
Malzahn is like a RB whisperer who is constantly telling his QBs to shut up. I do like that youre pointing out that WRs enjoy having a QB who can actually throw them the ball. Hard to catch a ball bouncing off the ground or hitting the guardrail on the front of the bleachers.

QB all the way. Not fast enough for WR .
Yeah, that's what I thought, also. Of course, since he is African-American, everybody just assumes he is a duel threat QB or an athlete that could be moved to WR. Malone, imo, is a pro style QB, no doubt.
For the poster saying FSU's old staff liked him as a QB, u gotta figure they still do, at A&M. I'm biased, since I graduated from Fulton, but I really hope Malone gets a shot to play QB at a SEC school or at least, D1 or FBS or whatever the hell they call it know-a-days
Jeeezus fellas, not racism at all, I honestly just mix up he and Gibbs (Fulton WR) profiles on 247. I agree with you on Malone. Lol
