They talked about it all game. They said he had been in on ST, but he was not playing because of coach's decision. I am not sure what caused it, but they showed him tearing up during America the Beautiful and speculated it could be about the song or about the fact that he was not playing.

I miss stuff like that when I watch thd game on mute cause I hate the announcers

Maybe I am reading too much into these rumors
But I think BB just coached his last game with Pats and McDaniels is going to be the HC.

Hopefully it happens and leave the Colts Fed

Short of a video of Belicheck eating a baby in a KKK robe while sitting on a naked Mexican he won’t leave anytime soon. Brady or no Brady.

If that video gets out, expect somebody like Muschump or Mel Gray to get a call first.

I don’t really watch the NFL at all anymore due to them time zone issue, but I need to brush up on my rules.

The final Eagle TD.... I saw no way on earth why that would even be questioned as a TD.

1. Catch... absolutely secure in hands
2. 2-3 steps with a dive
3. Clearly crosses the goal line
4. Ground causes bobble
5. Heck... may have even caught it clean after the ground bobble

Spot on Nick. Collingsworth is such a tool bag. Was trying to hype up some controversy. Clearing caught it and made multiple football moves. He was no longer a receiver but a runner and in that case the ground cannot cause a fumble.

I hope whoever had money on Nick Foles winning the MVP of the Super Bowl is going to enjoy their new private island.

Yeah, he had the ball outside the 5 yard line. Those announcers were really trying to make a controversy out of it. He took at least 2 or 3 steps, then dove or was falling into the end zone.

Also, on that td, I realize that some angles didn't show it, but I am pretty sure that the guy's foot was touching the carpet well before it hit the line. I would have easily called both a td.

I think we end up with Walker, JJ, and ITS. Which is remarkable considering the circumstances. Really can’t complain about losing recruiting battles at this point. Stole a tight end that Bama wanted and flipped a QB from Cal. We gone be aight.

Yep. Bummer if Young doesn’t come but if we snag those three, the class is a grand slam. I will be completely fine with it.

The question was did the catch cause him to go to the ground. If it did he has to hold thru the fall but since he took 3 steps before he was runner and just dove instead of falling

Watch the stealers catch no catch and you will understanding the discussion

He took steps that had some change of direction to dive. It wasn't questionable at all. Collinsworth is a moron for even trying to push that nonsense.

Take off your tinfoil hat. Everything is going to be ok.

Of course everything is fine. The Pats lost, DB got a SB ring, and I woke up again this morning. However, Collingsworth loves him some Brady and the Pats and it was obvious in how he commented on the game. No conspiracy. Just an observation.

He's awful. I never watch his broadcasts. Appreciate Al Michaels but he got paired with the ultimate boob.

It was the right call but I could see someone thinking the catch caused him to stumble which would then by rule make him hold on to the ball when he hit the ground

From typical broke college kid, Music City bowl champ to millionaire and Super Bowl champion in one year. Very happy for DB and glad all his hard work has been rewarded.

No way, it wasn't close in real time and replay made it even more obvious.

It was disgusting how biased they were.

Makes you wonder if people like that, high achievers as announcers/commentators, ever work hard enough to go back and review their own performances on live TV to see if they were objective and factual.

Nah - we all know the answer to that one. Fan boys.

Collingsworth was pretty bad last night. Great game, one of the best games I can remember.

After being at a party, I only listened to him late in the game. I really don't think he was trying to create a controversy. It is just so ironic that the hot topic on field issue this year came up crucial late in the game. No one truly has a clue what the review will be, which is the problem.

I agreed that it was a catch. But Dez Bryant took 2 steps 4 years ago and tried to cross the goal line. His was a little different because he wasn't exactly running after the catch. Collingsworth was making the point that if the review official deemed the defender caused Ertz to go down then that could change the decision.
