Sam refusing to accept the futility continues to shoot at the damn door wasting bullets even with nothing piercing it at all.
Also he uses a moronic action of kicking a door that he knows is bulletproof which doesn't break.

Truth
In the real world the same hockey goalie mask was used by nhl goalies and other hockey goalies.

You must have been watching another Space Jam movie.

The team of aliens is known as the Monstars, and nothing in the movie states or says the name of a basketball team is The Goon squad.

Also in the real world that would be a flagrant foul so they wouldn't for that logical reason not because Michael Jordan is the goat.

In both fictional stories a great white shark attacks and kills humans in the beach area of a fictional area Amity Island of a East Coast State Massachusetts.

Truth:
Extreme similar events happened in the real world the infamous shark atracks in New Jersey a east coast State in the Summer of 1916 more than 40 years before Jaws was released as a novel, and movie.

While author Peter Bemchley denies the novel Jaws was inspired by the 1916 shark attacks in New Jersey it still has undeniable similarities.
