'18 GA LB Quay Walker (UGA signee)

Nah. Everyone cheats but us

It’s called the Rocky Top Fund for a reason lol. Worked like a steam engine in the 90s, well oiled machine.

Everyone keeps thinking it’s a one time cash payment, it’s not (most of the time). Handshakes have happened since the beginning of time, for everyone. Now, there is other ways to pay a lump sum, buy a recruits house way overvalue, cash of course. Buy, sell, small businesses. How many million would you pay for Xavier Thomas’s dads carwash? Flip, Clemson was getting a recruits dad out of jail. Not everyone gets paid but those who do, most of the time, get paid over time. Cars, suits, rims, all are another way to give perks. Still surprised DaRick flaunted his car back in the day. Always have guys try to ‘show off’ see google lol.

That said, Bama and AU do have a system, a very good system. Ole Miss were rookies and got caught.

Ole Miss got caught but they weren't a rookie. You ever heard of Billy Brewer?

Rephrase it as Freeze was a rookie? How IPTAY is still allowed to function at CU by the NCAA is a mystery to me. Bama, AU, CU, all have been busted and put on probation but the NCAA didn’t scratch the surface on any of the 3.

This is the reason I never understood why college players were trying to unionize. I mean, I get it to a certain point.

Aka money laundering. And I believe Clemson got Thomas’ Dad out of jail. They did everything they could to get him

As a Georgia fan I’d be happy closing with Reese, Campbell, and bush. Pretty incredible that Pruitt was able to reel in Peterson and Walker in such a limited time. It’ll be interesting to see how the recruiting battles play out next year with smart, Saban, and Pruitt.

Walker may not be as "reeled" in as some seem to think.

Auburn's 247 guys seem to think that Tennessee is the team to beat for Walker. UGA likes their chances with Otis Reese as well, which would mean that they do not have another open LB spot.

Got to feel good about the VOLS' chances at the moment.

UGA might greyshirt one of their commits. They will have room to take 4 more which means they could take both LBs

There's definitely a possibility of a greyshirt or a player going the JUCO route. It's not unusual for hiccups to occur as recruits go through the process of submitting the necessary information to satisfy the NCAA academic requirements. Sandidge's decision may be the one that ultimately determines if UGA has room for both Walker and Reese. South Carolina is thought be the favorite, but if he wants to commit to UGA he definitely has a spot. As does Campbell.

Two BIGTIME targets who spent the weekend elsewhere were Quay Walker and Olaijah Griffin. Griffin told Volquest he will take next weekend off before announcing on NSD. We believe that while he enjoyed Alabama, this ultimately comes down to USC and Tennessee. USC gained a lot of momentum after its visit, but Pruitt’s visit with Griffin and his parents put Tennessee back in good shape. It will still come down to his desire to leave home. As for Walker, Tennessee had good dialogue with Walker and those closest to him this weekend. The momentum doesn’t seem to have taken a hit, with Pruitt going in home this week. Then the Vols must survive one more visit.

This is the last week coaches can be on the road before NSD. The dead period starts Sunday, so look for Pruitt to get his final face-time with Quay Walker, Jacob Copland, Taiyon Palmer, John Mincey and possibly others. Pruitt has already used his visits with guys like Olaijah Griffin, Eddie Smith, Glenn Beal, Tyson Campbell, Otito Ogbonnia and Geordon Porter.
