Keep the gray unis for occasional use but also..

Include solid white pants unis from the 90's (would honestly like these regularly worn at home)
classic double orange stripe on pants (remove checkerboard striping from helmets for these)
orange pants with double white stripe

All classic looks that should have never been retired or taken out of rotation.

If Pruitt has even thought about a silly thing like alternate uniforms, I'd be surprised. Given the situation with hiring a staff, learning the roster, flipping the recruiting board, the early signing period and now a mad dash to the formal signing day, I doubt he's had time to give two squirts about it. Right now I can't think of anything less of a priority.

The Smokey Greys are loved by the players and were voted one of the best UNIs 2 years ago. They are something that attracts kids and I say you let the team vote on it.

I personally wish they would have worn them more!

When you sign on and take Nike's money, you allow them certain creative input. If the Smokey Grey stuff is selling, I doubt they want to mess that up. Pruitt might use it less, but I doubt they go away as long as they make money.

I am fine with the Smoky Grey theme featuring our beloved Smoky Mountains as a backdrop to our orange Power T. I think that is an aesthetically pleasing and appropriate logo for us. But my own personal preference is that our uniforms remain orange & white.

If we do use the smoky grey uniforms on occasion, though, it's not an end of the world issue for me.

This all day long. Everywhere Pruitt has been, I don't think he has given two hoots about that, except the part where the shirts are tucked in. I feel he will raise as much Hell about that as Saban and Smart do.

The team colors are chosen by .. get this ... the team, the coach, the administration.

Players really like the Smokey Grey. It's their team and their colors.

You don't like? Don't watch.

The recruits and players seem to like them, considering how many wear the smokey's in the photo session on an OV.

The Nike grey uniform was pretty good. Keep it. You want to get rid of something new and dumb, then ditch the huge increase in stupid piped in music in the stadium. "Jump Around"? Really? REALLY? Depressing. Play the damn UT Medical Center ads and get on with the game.

I like the new smokey grey (Nike) unis. I LOVE the helmet.

That being said, 1 game a year and go with traditional unis in bowl games

We can go all orange and they can go all black.

Maybe replace our white trim with black and USC can do theirs in red.

PS: I love the Smokey greys and hope we continue the tradition. Once MAYBE twice a season seems about right.

Personally, I think the gray uniforms are too plain.....maybe incorporate more colors, patterns, or designs.
