As long as the federal government is taxing us, we have a right to say what happens with our public property and funds.

If you want to lobby for a law that would allow you to build a helipad and buy a helicopter on your own dime, build a fence, pay for your own security to patrol your property line, and then fly illegals in to stay on your compound, I will gladly agree with your argument and sign the petition to let you do it.

Otherwise, your argument is just so much ill-conceived smelly stuff.

Since we all know Haiti is not a sh*thole and it looks like Dems are going to shut the government down over DACA, I see a compromise for both sides. DREAMers are illegals, no way around it, but we can send them to Haiti, a great nation. The DACA kids, being doctors and scientists, will arrive on Haitian soil with thousands of people singing their praise, graciously accepting this boon from the U.S. The DREAMers will put their skills to work and lift the island out of poverty through their hardwork and fortitude. These DREAMers will carve out their own pieces of paradise on the island and live like kings. The local Haitian population will be so grateful, and with education and civil building projects going, they will lift themselves up to become a prosperous and strong country. I think this is a compromise libs can get behind.

If they wanted to finance the security on their interior-facing property line, I'd be cool. And I'd be cool with them asking our Gov't to put up a fence and man the outer-facing border.

And I'm cool with America enacting laws to protect our borders and screen potential immigrants.

This is the issue with socialism. It's just an excuse for control. Want your kids to go to public schools? Conform to our standards. Want to use our roads? Conform to our standards. All just another means for the government to control you.

That's all immigration is about. Controlling wages.
