I'm just saying the stock market shouldn't be a strong touting point for any president (Obama or Trump who both did well/are doing well in the area) because the lower and the middle class are the backbone of this country. So let's stop working for the 1% and let's have someone who works for the working class.

Impossibility. The reality is if the 1% suffer, the whole country suffers. The 1% built this country. Without them, we wouldnt have very much. As long as our monetary system exists, the 1% will always be catered to.

Primarily, I acknowledge that some middle class families are invested though a minority. I am just saying the attempt at using that as a "gotcha" point to prove this presidency is a success is a "****hole" point.

Do you have a retirement account?

So you're saying this is a victory for truth then. That's why we "needed" this?

This isn’t a victory of anything. He just allegedly told the truth and people are up in arms about it. Being upset at and silencing the truth isn’t where we need to be heading.

Apparently the difference between you and me is that I was raised by folks who didn't sugarcoat everything. They were very plain spoken and people didn't have to wonder what they stood with them. This was parents and grandparents. So, I don't get my panties in a wad over someone speaking their mind. I appreciate honesty.

Speaking one's mind with no forethought or consideration of possible consequences is not a trait many would wish for a world leader.

Lol make my point for me. I am not advocating taking all the rich and making them slaves. Are the rich in Norway or Sweden suffering? No, but the middle class aren't giving them breaks either.

You make it seem like either we surrender to their judgement or we are somehow oppressing them.

Snowflake logic...

Lol, liberal talking point number 3.

3. Without a coherent argument, resort to saying something offhand about the "rich."

And here’s talking point number 1.....

Not anywhere near the level this President has. Yes, other Presidents weren't perfect. This guy though is not comparable to other presidents.

The press and 1/2 the population didn’t hang on every word previous presidents uttered so there is no way to know.

President Trump reportedly referred to immigrants from Haiti and African countries as coming from "s***hole countries" on Thursday.

How articulate of him.

Trump made the comment in an Oval Office meeting with lawmakers during a discussion of protections for immigrants from several countries, according to the Washington Post.

"Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?" Trump said, according to multiple people briefed on the meeting.

He reportedly said that the U.S. should bring in more people from countries like Norway.

In other words, we should exclude blacks and bring in more whites, right Donald?
He should have referred to Africa as an HIV, Ebola, Smallpox, Sleeping Sickness, Dengue Fever, Malaria ridden
sh!thole. He was only partially right.

You guys are focusing exclusively on that one aspect of Trump's comment and trashing the country the immigrants are from - though that is no fault of theirs at all. In the past, Trump has advocated that immigration be handled as a meritocracy but with these comments, he is making it clear that if you are a well educated, English speaking person who is immediately capable of entering the workforce in the United States but have the misfortune (in Trump's opinion) of hailing from say, the Sudan (such as the immigrants featured in the movie "The Good Lie"), you should not be permitted in the United States because you come from a "s***hole" country. It was an incredibly narrow minded line of thinking.

Please Google "The Lost Boys of Sudan" and learn more about them. They have contributed heavily to American society and it is a great story.

There it is, blame the media. Called it. The party of personal responsibility has become the eternally pass the buck party.

I can point to something terrible Trump has said at least every 2 days if not more. Some of our other presidents were explicitly racist at times, but A. It's 2017 and B. Stop making excuses because no one has ever done this at the level Trump is doing.

Trump didn’t say anything racist, inappropriate maybe but not racist.

Trump is not half as smart as you. It's probably a good thing that he is a high-functioning moron.

Jeez... you guys just jump to the race card.

Yam hold up the Scandinavian countries as the the picture of national excellence when you think it helps you socialist argument, but then call trump racist for saying that Norway is an excellent country.

Pointing the difference between third world and first world is racist?
