lol, kind of you to say so, but not a connoisseur. We just keep bumping up our price point. :) It was Maker’s Mark for a few years, then Bulleit. We’ve gotten Woodford Reserve a few times when on sale, but I actually think I like Bulleit better. Go figure!

I would take Maker's into Neyland except when we played KY, had to do Tennessee whiskey that day. I do like Woodford and Bulleit, but I am a longtime fan of W.L. Weller. And Pappy Van Winkle of course. 😬

I have tried Maker's, I will try the Woodford tomorrow. Is it better than Jack Daniels single barrel?


So you now know where I've been, any updates on your twin Exile, Boro, or others? They just poofed?

Well, I know it’s dangerous to say this, but I don’t really like Jack. Too charcoal-y for me. Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry...

The Woodford has a cork, so it doesn’t have that deflector thingy in the neck, meaning that whether you want to do so or not, you will have a generous pour. :)

Boro has taken a break from the forums pending the future actions of Coach Pruitt, as he can’t get reconciled with having a Bama coach, at least until he starts winning.

My twin still has mysterious issues with access here, which they are working on, and hasn’t posted since several days before the Pruitt announcement. Why on earth he doesn’t create an account called UTVolInExile2 for the interim, I cannot understand. But then I tend to think that women are more pragmatic than men about such things, or at least I am, so there you are.

^^Note: I just finished Lonesome Dove (843 pages), and now I’m on Streets of Laredo (589 pages), and I can see that I am now talking like a Larry McMurtry character. :crazy:

Yea tough for me to give him my support. I'm tired of being the sheep that gets excited over the newest hire just because they have an orange tie on at the podium. He has to win and win quick for me.
