Hey y’all. I’m over in the end zone. Charlie and I went over earlier to defend our honor on a thread but it’s pretty fun. Maybe check it out...

Just got out. Them bastards kept me . 2 shot of tordall , 4 shots of dalidad , 4 shots of morphine , and diladad to take home. Still in pain. Wtf !

That's crazy you are still in pain...not sure where you can go beyond dilaudid. Maybe Opana but I would avoid that crap like the plague, same for fentanyl.

I did have a pinched nerve once, also in my neck and it was the most blinding pain I have ever felt in my life. I couldn't turn my head without screaming. I think they gave me some kind of oxycodone and it worked for me, but everyone is different. Hope you feel better.

Ketamine. My ex husband had a horrible BASE jumping accident. When everything else failed, they moved to intravenous ketamine. I didn’t even know they still used it on humans until they gave it to him.

Just watched an episode of Vice TV... featured Ketamine benefits for numerous aliments. Apparently works to mitigate pain, depression and the like. India seems to be the hub for manufacturing. Doctors and patients that use the drug swear by its benefits.

It’s a far superior drug, especially on the battle field bc its a pain killer that doesn’t affect the heart and respiration.the US govt banned it basically bc people were going on vision quests and lord knows, the govt can’t have anyone experiencing any sort of epiphany. So despite ketamine’s low risk compared to its opioid counterparts, the govt still chooses opioids. ::::end semi-anarchist rant:::

Wow! Not many people require treatment after a base jumping accident! That is scary. Amazing to think ravers use it for fun.

I see you got them all excited about having a gurrl in there!

Ha, that was not my intent. I went over bc people from here were kinda trashing me and Charlie. the criticism may have been warranted; I was just confused as to why it wasn’t said in here to me. Silly, I know. It’s a message board. Why do I care? But it all turned out in the end especially since our beloved thread is on life support right as I’m in the midst of a bout with insomnia.

Btw, morning VNE. How’d your holiday shake out. Do you still have any fam in town? Are they calling for snow that way?

Good morning!

The out-of-tower has returned home, and the rest of us have trudged back to work.

Christmas was great, especially as it was at the new parents’ house, not ours. We all brought bits and pieces of the meals, tried to adhere to a budget, and watched the Tiny Terror try to eat wrapping paper. Christmas is a lot more fun when there are little kids involved.

Dang cold here; chance of dusting of snow today; flurries or more predicted for the weekend; down to 15 degrees New Years Eve.

Luckily, we usually fall asleep by 9 or so, so we don’t care, as long as the furnace behaves.

I’m sorry you two felt run off. I hope I wasn’t one of them! As for life support, I’m hoping that once we’re past the holidays we’ll be wandering back again.

Oh no no no. We didn’t feel run off. Someone sent me a message on twitter saying there was a thread in the end zone talking about how we’d turn the neyland thread into a suck fest. So of course, I had to go see for myself, and once I got there, I couldn’t keep my big fat mouth shut. Nothing more than me having too much time on my hands!

Glad you and yours enjoyed your Christmas. I agree the addition of Littles enriches it for everyone!

They tried a few combinations of drugs , I asked the nurse if their meds were out of date ,or watered down , she said I opened them in front of you. Lol...I said calm down , it was an attempt at humor. Lol...

The shot they gave me for stress test on my heart freaked my mind. It felt like my heart beat was 1000 times a min...lol
