Update to the above: VNE and Mr VNE are home and dry. I am stretched out, enjoying some fine-ass Costco Pinot Grigio (the Italian one, not the Cali one. All of $6.99/ bottle, I’ll have you know.)

Fortunately we bought it on the way to Memphis. When we went shopping again today for meat and ahem, more vino, we discovered the arcane twist in Tennessee’s new liquor laws that you can now buy wine in groc stores (and Costco), but not on Sunday. Look but don’t touch. :cray:

Note: Asheville doesn’t have a Costco. :cray::cray:

3 buck for the last several years. :) Anyway, I’m happy with the Friuli or whatever the label is. It certainly beats the going prices in grocery stores.

We raid Costco in Greenville SC when we fly from there or in Knoxville when driving through. Anything is better than the prices in the state of NC’s monopoly on liquor sales via ABC stores. Also the gas prices.

It might be just as well that we don’t have one in Asheville. :lol:

Haha. Glad my insomnia serves the greater good on occasion. I wanted a buy an original bob Ross as a joke a few years ago....dem *****es are expensive! Mornin’ Charlie.
