Well, considering that there is no room for rational discussion and good-natured banter on the FF, we probably don't belong there either. :question:


edit to add: I can't find a link on the FF to show that this thread was moved, so I added a "here's where we are and how to get here" post on the Gruden thread.

I really like JJ, I am just unsure which narrative about his dismissal is completely accurate.

Was it his ranting and behavior before Vandy that caused everything? Or was he "checked out" all season?

Well, there's one thing we know for certain which is the video rant. Can't hide from that. Not to get political but that was pretty bad.

I concoct my own at the house....Vodka, Spicy V-8, Tobasco, Worcestershire sauce, salt. Sometimes I add horseradish if I have it handy.

It was, but having worked at a D-1 basketball program -that- rant was common place. Players are passionate, immature, and emotional. I've seen quite a few heated arguments blow up over one player defending a coach another was ranting about.

I have read JJ was missing...a lot. Class, practice, rehab, meetings, and even games. If that's all true...I am not sure I want him back on the team.

All great ingredients!

I tend to make my own when I have time or feeling experimental.

I use lower sodium V-8, Clamato, maybe a dash of beef broth, Tobasco, celery salt, pepper, Old Bay, and on-and-on until I get it right.

If it never gets "just right" I simply keep adding vodka. :crazy:

I get it, but this was filmed and put "out there." IMO, you can't simply ignore it based on immaturity.

Unfortunately we live in a society where Group A can say certain things where Group B can't.

Agreed, completely.

Guess I am mostly saying if it is just the video...I as a fan can forgive that more.
