I do hate that Clemson is making inroads not only into TN, but the Knoxville area. Kids will certainly be recruited by others they know and negative recruiting will be at an all-time high for the next few years.

in my opinion, any news that comes out that it may not be over, is just damage control to lessen the hate that Cade and his family receives from Tennessee. I think his mind is set, and is following TL no matter what.

Ron said Cade wont even give Pruitt an in home visit. Losing hm sucks, but after hearing that? I say dont let the door hit you in the azz on the way out.

I agree. When I heard that it sealed it for me. How can you go from not even letting him in the door to reconsidering? You don’t. They are receiving a ton of hate and are trying to counter it with “second thoughts.”

Wouldn't want to beg him to be here. There will be more Holy Grail's out there...

Back fill his slot with a strong JUCO and move on....

We get hung up on kids without really knowing what is going own...if he doesn't want to be here then we don't want him here....

The best thing we can do is move forward and make him regret not wanting to be here because he made the wrong decision....

If Clemson does not land put Lineman in the NFL and he goes there then so be it...

Some of you posters are incredibly ignorant. He's an 18 year old kid. Just because he may choose another school doesn't mean he hates UT or that he is taking an easy way out. Sometimes, you just fall in love with a place.

When I was 18, I fell in love with a couple of hookers. Guess that's better than falling in love with lil Dabo and Clemson though.

Yeah. I get Higgins and Rodgers avoiding UT for obvious reasons. Cade is a little more surprising, thought he’d be back on board since the Pruitt hire. But hey. You got 2 local guys all in ears saying how awesome Clemson is. Truth is, as successful as Clemson has been lately, they will never be on the level of UT football. UT football at its peak, Clemson doesn’t even compare. If Pruitt can get this thing rolling again, Clemson ain’t getting anyone UT wants.

I get that. I don't get how appealing it is to go to a place that's had 1 OL drafted since 09. Hell, we've had 5 coaches in 10 years and have 4 or 5 drafted. 1 first rounder.
Those championship or playoff appearances don't sign million dollar contracts for their oline.

He’s likely thinking it’s appealing to go to a top program that’s playing in the national playoffs for the 3rd year straight. Sure he’s thinking it’s a good, dynamic, productive offense and if he plays well, which he’s likely very confident he will, he’ll be the 2nd.
