I thought I read where it's been confirmed Schilling was communicating with a fake account and the real mom now has a verified account. Could be wrong.

Folks in the RF are saying we could have a large number of recruits coming in this weekend. Most would be first visits of newly offered recruits or ones who did not seriously consider UT under the previous coaching staff. Hope it is true. We need some help.

I saw the post about Keaton’s mom on twitter. I don’t know what is true anymore but I truly hope this woman didn’t exploit her son’s pain for attention and money. I will reserve judgment on her as I don’t know the situation except as reported.

I would hope that despite his moms possible feelings, the attention Keaton received yesterday will help him form his own opinion and create positive press for the seriousness of bullying. I will keep this boy in my prayers. As for our Vols, I am so proud of how the team has responded.

Here's a recruiting summary for those who don't venture into the RF. Someone asked for one a while back and I don't think I saw one.

  • 13 commits currently (currently 36 on Rivals composite)
  • Decommits (10 since Oct 4) thread - Decommits
  • Lots of new offers
  • A few offers sound like they've been rescinded
  • Pages of angst about Cade Mays possibly not coming to UT
  • Concern about Adrian Martinez to Nebraska
  • Hope for contact with Trevor Lawrence
  • Discussions of switching from a 4-3 to 3-4 on defense
  • Good things reported about last weekend's visits
  • Excited about this weekend's visits
  • Looking at some JUCO players and grad transfers

My 2C
  • I can't believe Mays won't end up at UT, I still have high hopes for him making the right decision, but I could be wrong...I often am.
  • I take CJP at his word about getting the best players on the field, whether it's 3-4 or 4-3, I'm guessing we'll gradually recruit to and move to 3-4 but we don't have enough linebackers for that now (do we ?).
  • Good to see some JUCO talent being recruited, we need some experience for depth purposes even if it is JUCO experience.
