what goes around comes around....so reminds of the AOL chat days 18 yrs ago when I met my lovely wife !

on the football front, always look forward to ending of Army/Navy....brothers and sisters in arms come together as one....."Proud to an American" !

Damn, that must have been a boring game to watch ending up 7 to 1.
Gotta give it to them for playing hella defense though.

Doyle did they run the 4 corners offense? Lol. I remember a game in the 70s I think where we beat temple 10 to 6. I might be wrong though.
 
I miss early Bruce. Loved the full court press. He started recruiting bigger players and we started playing halfcourt basketball. Can't stand the shotclock in the ncaa.

Lot of low scoring games before the shot clock. Dean Smith was one of the main reasons we have a shot clock.
 
I got as high as a cub scout, no military but I get goose bumps every year I watch, especially the ending, snow makes it even better !

My only connections to the military are two Air Force granddads (each side) and working with a bunch of retired Marines.

I still tend to fall on the Army side though, for some reason.
