Guessing but I think he wants a monster staff wanting to work under him. Hesitation in signing because of it. He's selling himself short. If he would sign I think the best of the best come calling to work with him.

That's kind of my point. If he is "signed", it needs to be announced soon IMO. Surely we can't wait to announce a head coach until after MNF is over. In the meantime, do we just continue to dangle a carrot to the coordinators?

Maybe we should just ride the Gruden train until it runs out of track. At the least you have a few less days of disappointment than those currently in the pit of misery. And if we have a Christmas miracle there will be much rejoicing. Why not?
