Saban did, just sayin. Tennessee brand sells itself to the right coach. The administration is our problem, they have to hire the right coaches and we would take off.Still don't prefer him though, that should go without saying.:rock:

If its him and Tee, they would recruit fine. I'm just not sure how the overall relationship and Chemistry would go. Would Tee feel like he should have been named HC, but wasn't cause JP is a white guy? Hostility? The fans want a TN guy, yet they hired a Bama guy over Tee? Would he undermind him? Who knows.

Maybe Gravy...but as much as I want a good recruiter, I want a good coach. I don’t want locker room drama. I don’t want Butch warmed over. I want somebody that will bleed orange and make those boys wanna run through fire for the university.

The people on Volquest have simply gone bats**t crazy. Threads ranging from gofundme requests for Hugh freeze hookers, another run at Gruden, hire freeze/Schiano as coordinators, on and on. In the words of Vince Lombardi(maybe he can still coach),

Or the mystery guest is in fact Gruden... the more I think about it, he’s gotta be the mystery candidate. There’s been so much talk about him and so many negatives in the national media (many from his co-workers) he prob doesn’t want to stir any more up.

Yeah, I’ve been out honestly. Trying to find excitement about the potentials. Really surprised at people’s reactions to differences of opinions and the hostile attitudes that’s become a huge part of this thread. Didn’t use to be like that, I guess Gruden is the only unifying candidate.

I miss the days where the insiders would be in here sharing titbits for hours on end. It is almost as if most of them have stopped coming here.

Wonder why...if I was called a troll every hour and called out every time something didn't go as my info said, I wouldn't darken the doors either.

There's alot of name calling and all that nonsense in here most of the day. Nobody can just say "hey you know what, I disagree with everything you said, but that's cool we both are wearing orange". It ends up being bickering and name calling and I'm pretty sure somebody told deerhunter that he slept with his daughters. Its useless.
